my wife consistently maxes out the 8GB in her MBP right now with safari (10-20 tabs), iphoto, mail, skype, ical, and a few others. Doesn't seem like much, but she hits the ram ceiling really fast.

requiem will strip itunes video DRM (for free!), but I think it only works on itunes 10.6 and earlier (10.6.1 - the latest - broke it, i think).

Apple charges reasonable rates for their services, making their profit on the hardware. If they did buy sprint, it would only be to bolster their iphone market. They wouldn't be out there looking to make a profit off of cell service.

You've just described apple, which is what google is trying to avoid becoming. If you're looking for that environment, just buy into that environment, right?

I am a fan of the new mail layout, safari reading list syncing (this might be available in 10.6), full screen apps (and 4-finger left/right swipe), airdrop (awesome feature for small files), and launch pad.
