The luxury tax is what’s causing the Dodgers to be go window-shopping instead of free agent shopping. Teams have shown a willingness to overspend, but there’s a limit, even for deep-pocketed teams like the Dodgers. 50% on every dollar over the threshold finally made Guggenheim balk at spending.

Taking a whole 38 minutes to correct the mistake is still within the window of “Hawaiian Time”.

I think the luggage policy should be reversed. Checking luggage should be free, and you should pay for overhead stowing. A personal item to be stowed under your seat would still be complimentary.
