Very disappointing season.  

We used to argue two seasons ago (can’t remember my user name from then) about how I thought Claire was incessantly ssss’ing - scowling, scorning, sad, sulking, sorrowful,snivelling and why was there so much crying in Scotland, but now she’s vastly improved. At least the incessant gentle sobbing has stopped!!

He’s a good actor but, like Sam Heughan, he’s not being used properly. It’s all about the chicks and one of those chicks is a mediocre actress.

I think it should have stopped at the printer’s shop. Their love story was resolved right there.

I can’t even be bothered to be upset that YouTube has not yet released this episode. I’m content to read the recap and the comments. I just don’t care that much even though I binged S1 and S2 over our long weekend.

The use of slaves and the indigenous as props and plot points strikes me as either lazy writing or insulting. I can’t decide where to put my feelings on that one.

Also, I still can’t bring myself to care about Brianna and Roger. Why Roger just didn’t go back to Scotland and come back with say an automatic rifle or some grenades is beyond me. For a smart person the concepts of retreat, re-group and re-strategise seem lost on him.
