Having gone through it once I think the entire jury process is stupid and a huge waste of time and resources. I would much rather take the French approach of 5 judges determine the outcome. They’re far more qualified than the rest of us to see through the lawyers and form an opinion.

The snark is pretty appropriate. I’m quite confident that most everyone involved in a shooting event tries to escape. You don’t need to tell most people that they should try to run away. The people that get killed weren’t killed because they sat and thought for a bit about how they were going to handle the situation.

I don’t usually do snarky, but this is all so depressing and ridiculous, it seemed appropriate.

Since the official response to constant and repeated mass shootings has been “lol i dunno, i guess try to run away” instead of literally anything useful?

Can I just say how much I appreciate this being a list and not a slideshow?

I thought the same thing for those 3.  They are pharmacies, should people not be able to get their medication because of a holiday?

To be fair, CVS/Walgreens/Rite Aid I feel like should get the same pass as grocery stores (as they have the odds and ends that people can end up needing during a holiday). The rest can fuck off

Mattress’s are really lame to shop for.  Most matress co’s will change the name of the mattress depending on which store they’re selling them at. This way they can price the same product at different prices.  Makes them very hard to research.

Having carried a p-38 in my pocket in my late teens and early 20 and giving up. they are sharp and damage your pockets and things in your pocket. Just keep one handy and not necessarily on your person.

And yet people still do them.  Weird!  Do a little research on the subject instead of just assuming its “impossible”.  Its not impossible and it will also only improve over time.

This seems like good advice for the very tiny group of people who are saving pictures to use commercially, but very much overkill for the vast majority of users who are saving pictures for some kind of personal use like sending a meme to a friend.
