Does this mean I can get tourists to sit in traffic on 405 and go to work for me too? All part of the LA experience!

I can use my AmEx anywhere except the liquor store and local ice cream shop (sadly). I have the 5% cash back card, so it’s definitely worth it for the majority of other places

Somewhat off topic, but if you use Overdrive for eBooks you can use this extension to find available books (in Overdrive and physical books):

Not crockpot-friendly, but chicken and rice casserole in similar vein:

They tried to do the same thing to me. I signed up for an account, then brought my husband in to add him - he was pretty busy at the time and I usually handle finances anyway, so it was no big deal. But we got in and the woman that helped us tried to convince us to open a 2nd joint account - since you never know

She’s probably thinking the same thing about her search history

My husband and I share the same Lastpass, which has everything non-work related.

The opposite of Alamo Draft house, AMC has started doing SFF (Sensory Friendly Films) which are a great way to see a crappy movie. Talking, eating, and dancing are allowed. They don’t turn the lights off all the day, so my husband live tweeted Geostorm without bothering anyone - just blowing up his twitter feed.

city-data.com has some good info on areas. Crime rates, demographics, etc - plus forums usually have at least a few posts on each area.

That’s pretty much the same process if you forget ID and need to fly. Extra questions, and someone escorts you through the metal detector, plus the extra pat down/bag search

I’ve heard that, but didn’t have any issues with my obviously sedated cat. Probably just depends on whoever’s working that day

If he’s small enough, you can just put him under the seat in cabin. That plus kitty drugs saved me in my cross country move

I recently sold my old SNES (plus ~20 games) for over $200. Those and the N64 are selling well, not sure why though.
