If you’re a vegetarian odds are you spend a lot more on Taco Bell than Chipotle. Evidence: I am a vegetarian who spends 12 bucks at T. Bell and 10 max at Chipotle.
This all sounds great, and Taco Bell already has many vegetarian options on their menu, but I do wonder if some of these goals will have the regrettable side effect of raising prices. Taco Bell is great, but the relatively low cost is a major reason to favor it over options like Chipotle and Qdoba.
im no longer vegetarian, but t-bell was always the best about it. after not eating fast food for 5ish years except very occasionally, i’ll go ahead and say it - they’re doing a hell of a job bringing me back. quality seems to be going up across the board.
No need for additional test products, the bean burrito, no onions, is the best vegetarian meal that exists.
“What you are talking about, just big picture, is a radical agenda compared to the way politics is done now.”
The House isn’t going to impeach Trump because, despite all her faults, Pelosi is too canny for that.
Further, “fuck” is every third word out of Joe Biden’s mouth, and every other out of Dick Cheney’s. Tone policing for women only isn’t cute.
I’m still sad about that dragon. I cried buckets over that scene.
Preface: I work at a public library. In order to keep my reference skills up to snuff, I will occasionally go down internet rabbit holes, because it makes me feel good to find stuff!
Im glad we have MORE children in congress.
YES!!! In January, you are ready to normalize after 3 months of holidays. Then February comes around, doing nothing for you. March is when I turn the corner mood-wise, because of St. Patrick’s Day and the start of Spring. Plus, every terrible person I know was born in February.
I’ve been using the Strava app on my Series 4, and it’s pretty solid.
Yeah. People say “Pure as the driven snow”, but snow just gets dirty and ugly when people drive on it. Yuck.
I’m just outside of DC.
Yeah I am planning to move from NYC to Michigan (I have family there, plus weed is now legal and their governor is great) in a couple years and even though Michiganders get waaaay less sun than in an East Coast city, they also have cars and therefore are warmer than I am, shivering on an outdoor subway platform or at…
I use Runkeeper as well. I prefer it over Strava, but the GPS tracking is somewhat lacking with watch alone. I also don’t like how little HR data the app collects. I got a wahoo HR monitor for christmas, but haven’t tried it yet to see if it tracks that much better or not.
I’ve been a dedicated Runkeeper user for a while now, but the stand-alone Apple Watch performance is... not great. Since I upgraded to the Watch with cell service, I feel comfortable going running without a phone (I’d want a way to contact folks if I injured myself/got lost/got stuck in weather and need a bailout).
Best parts about no longer living in NYC? I don’t have to deal with inches-deep slush puddles at corners. Because fuck, those sonsofbitches are the literal worst.
This is exactly why we always schedule our vacation trips for the end of February. It gives us something to look forward to during the Big Dark and gets us out of town just when we’re ready to lose our minds. On Feb. 22 you will find me on a beach in Maui, probably Ulua Beach. Stop by and say “Hi”.
