Imagine being a cop, with a man’s life in your hands. Imagine kneeling on his neck while he politely pleads for his life until he goes limp and cold. Imagine shooting at reporters and driving your cruiser into massed crowds of peaceful demonstrators. Why exactly should anyone sympathize with the cops?
Have you not been paying attention? The police have been the primary instigators of violence, not the protestors. Remember what the point of the protests was about?

While the tail end of the group was still straggling behind, the light turned green. Some jackass in a truck, instead of waiting for the maybe thirty…
