I remember this incident were everyone said the SUV was justified in knockiing some bikers over when trying to flee an angry mob of bikers. I see similar story here with the police trying to escape an angry mob throwing things at them and trying to break into the car.

Imagine being a cop, with a man’s life in your hands. Imagine kneeling on his neck while he politely pleads for his life until he goes limp and cold. Imagine shooting at reporters and driving your cruiser into massed crowds of peaceful demonstrators. Why exactly should anyone sympathize with the cops?

Have you not been paying attention? The police have been the primary instigators of violence, not the protestors. Remember what the point of the protests was about?

Tell me more about which crowds are a threat.

What other option is there? People of color tried the peaceful route for over 7 decades to be treated equally... and yet, where has it gotten them?

Just yesterday I watched a video of a group of peaceful protesters (yes, actually peaceful) crossing a crosswalk instead of rushing across the street all over the place. While the tail end of the group was still straggling behind, the light turned green. Some jackass in a truck, instead of waiting for the maybe thirty…

You are in for a very, very rude awakening. Happens when one lives in a bubble. My heart goes with you. 

Tactics like this aren’t to resolve, they’re to escalate.
