Probably not. It sounds like plenty of people that booked rooms and condos are still going anyway. I do wonder if it will get to the point where they REALLY step up enforcement and lock things down to the point where anyone seen “cruising” or congregating in areas will be dispersed or impounded though. I’m curious to

The “i” stands for “International”. And yes, it used to be an actual watercooled VW and euro car show that was probably one of the most prestigious in the country. Now it’s turned into a stance fuckboi fest and a reason for idiots from every other enthusiast niche to show up and be assholes. Most of the people causing

Mine wasn’t really that exciting but I did discover a helpful Rental Car Lifehack Tip I’d like to share.

So I was up in Northern Minnesota for a wedding and I roadkilled a raccoon or possum at night on my way there in the shitastic white 4 cyl Chrysler Seabring rental car I was driving. Normally I wouldn’t have cared,

I’m not talking about a Hurricane Proof raised parking garage. It could even be as simple as having overflow warehouse storage, or contracting space out to an empty big box retailer building, etc. No it’s not perfect or “flood proof”, but it at least beats leaving the cars outside.

Good point, but I think that the Infiniti owner wanting to get a new car NOW and having the money to afford one in the first place is going to be looking for a car in a non-hurricane affected state and would eliminate the risk of a flood damaged car all together. If it were me and I was in that income bracket I’d be

Disgusting. Two things surprise me about this:

If I showed up there as a last resort for saving my car and I saw this shit, I’d pull a pocket knife and a tire iron out of the trunk and go to town on this shit. It’s all insured anyway.

I don’t mind loud car noises, I mind shitty loud car noises. High performance engines sound nice, regardless of what kind of engine. Poorly built engines and exhaust systems are a nuisance.

Agreed. I’ve seen a marked decline in the Euro Scene and car culture in general in the last 5 or 6 years, and I think a lot of it comes down to too many non-enthusiasts coming to shows and meets. I used to direct traffic into a large Euro Show in Wisconsin that a friend organized and I noticed it has shifted from

Invited back? LOL I doubt this kind of shit has anyone actually caring enough to establish rules and structure to the event. I suppose they could ban him from the group he found the event on.

That’s the crux of the problem I see with most car shows and meets these days too. Idiots showing up that don’t care about

The only place in the Midwest I have still seen them in service lately has been Chicago, and I’m guessing because they had a fleet of THOUSANDS at one point. Otherwise I’m used to Chargers, Explorers, and Impalas mostly now.

I liked the 350Z/G35 when it came out because it was a pretty fantastic design at the time, but I don’t know that I’d seek one out to buy today. The cheaper these have gotten the worse type of person has owned them. I can’t imagine it would be easy to find a well maintained “adult owned” non-riced/stanced/drifted out

Meh, I don’t mind those. They look decent to me, but there’s nothing about them that would strongly compel me to buy one. I would take a GTI, a FiST/FoST, or a Fiat 500 Abarth before a Veloster if I was going to get a “hot hatch”.

It’s a dangerous game, resurrecting a name. When a car achieves fame, and gets changed to something lame, someone’s gonna get blamed. For shame.

See, and I’m the opposite. I prefer the black/grey interior over the tan look. Tan interiors always feel dingy and unclean for some reason, even when they’re immaculate

Car manufacturers are too chicken shit to spend the money and sell cars with interiors that actually compliment the exterior and have a “braver” color scheme these days. I’d love to see them put out some “limited editions” that had dark blue, dark green, blood red, etc. colored interiors. Or hell, even just design

Crown Vics are old enough now that it’s pretty damn unlikely that they are still in service.

Fuck the people that drive black Explorers or white Chargers and Impalas though.

Your first neck tattoo should have to be “Hourly wage for life” by law.

I should preface this and say that I don’t know shit about them to begin with, but what about a used ambulance? Similar to a shuttle van for a base chassis and I have to imagine they need to get updated often so there should be some cheap obsolete ones out there?

Eh, but a King Ranch Ford or a High Country Silverado wouldn’t be entirely “flashy” and would be better optioned, etc. If I see one I do think “Damn, someone dropped $70K on a truck!” but it’s not that outrageous.
