Funny story. Rumor has it that the original Cinderella story had fur slippers instead of glass slippers. But they turned into glass slippers due to a mistranslation from french to english or something.

@wtfox?!: PROVE THAT YOU'RE NOT A COMMUNIST SIR!
@bluebears: GASP!
@katie.scarlett.o'hara: Ricky Gervais wrote it. It shall be awesome.
But how will the chandelier swing down over the audience?
I was totally hoping for Idina Menzel or Kristen Chenoweth.
@Gavagirl: WHAT? They WHAT? WHAT KIND OF CASTING DECISION IS THAT?!
I am now deeply amused, and very hungry. Best video ever.
The sheer cruelty and just disgusting degree of pettiness, misery.
@Ratinski: I need to watch more TV. Or maybe not.
I do love Kristen Chenoweth. That said, Pushing Daisies on the return mis-stepped when it couldn't afford to mis-step at the lead-in into its second season.
@w/e, i have to say this...: Kirsten Wiig definitely won that match-off.
@mashamaybe: Because the world is cruel and injust
@BrutallyHonestBabes (aka Mrs. Sarah.of.a.Lesser.Hobbit): Thank you so much! *Bookmarked*
@BrutallyHonestBabes (aka Mrs. Sarah.of.a.Lesser.Hobbit): At the moment it's a detective novel film noir 40s era plotline with a fantasy setting. But that's just this project in particular. I generally skew towards short stories and magical realismand any divergent format that i flit towards.
@anteup: George Carlin is the gold standard of all comedians everywhere. If you want to go with across the pond recommendations then that's Ricky Gervais. With either of them you can't go wrong though.
I sent my story or at least a chapter out of it to at least 17 different friends and contacts two weeks ago.
God fuck it now i'm off to In & Out. Thanks a bunch!
I'm sorry this is neither here nor there but I really, really, really love the composition on the above chosen picture. The focus of the picture is on Emma, true but it's still fairly egalitarian, visually stretching your lines out to everyone else in the circle, and altogether it's a lovely photo.
@bluebears: Rock on, right with you.
