This is exactly what I was thinking: the fact that EA/Bioware decided to make a plot-critical content a part of DLC is disappointing. Now, everyone who is interested with the main campaign of the game (me included), will NEED to purchase this, or the CE if still available, in order to get the most out of the game.

I actually liked LA Noire. I agree with what most of the folks have already said, though: this game is repetitive. So what I did was I treated it like a TV show: one case per game time, that's it. And every now and then, I play it in black and white, just to put some variety in the gameplay.

Only played ME2 (PS3), and I usually mixed it up depending on the mission. Like, if I know robotics or geth are involved, it's Legion and Tali for me. For others, it's a combination between biotic specialists and assault/sniper users. But for the suicide mission, I've gone in with Miranda and Grunt.
