Dude, it's so good.

It's been really cool to watch that game go from Early Access to Awesome Finished Product. They really tuned the hell out of the mechanics (and added new ones), all based on player feedback the whole way.

Have you beat Dungeons of the Endless yet? If not, forget I said anything.

The plight of Steamers.

I've become a huge fan of Amplitude's work. I'm a fan of 4x (especially when it's in a genre setting) and Endless Space was pretty cool, but Dungeons of the Endless really captivated me. Played the heck out of that in Early Access, and leaped on Endless Legend when it hit Early Access.

I'd go for the newer model myself - newer tech compatibility, etc.

Interesting. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't as smooth as it seemed like it ought to be.

Man, Ubisoft's games are just so poorly optimized for AMD, I have a hard time imagining this game will run well even with the "recommended" cards. For example, on an AMD 7970, FC3 and ACIV both ran fairly choppy, regardless of graphics settings - definitely not at a steady 60FPS.

That's great. I'll totally buy it then.

Sweet. Thanks!

Is this a direct sequel? Will one have needed to play the Wii Xenoblade title to get the most out of the story?

Right. Basically, I have my own set of contradictory metrics, and the Call of Duty franchise no longer fits my own strange bill.

See, funny part is I feel like The Walking Dead is a much better use of my time/money.

Must... not... buy...

Confession Time: I bought every Call of Duty since World at War. I even bought a season pass version once, and briefly hosted a server for Black Ops.

Anyone else getting a Tekkonkinkreet vibe from some of this work?

Bet you one of the corporate execs that contributed to this dude's capture could spin a yarn about how he is literally a serial killer for creating TPB.

Someone else mentioned that, and I had a nostalgia ball. Definitely spent a lot of time on GameFaqs, back in the day. It was escaping me at the time of the original post, though.

God, the anticipation each time an issue with a demo disc came in the mail.

Oh man, GameFaqs. I haven't thought about that site in ages.
