I think his main question was how the statement that we need more options so more people can make characters that look like themselves could be followed immediately by a statement that people should stop making characters that look like themselves and they should “switch it up a little bit, as a treat” can coexist.

I feel like a monster but I did not enjoy this game. I played as an adult, not knowing anything “Zelda” besides the first game, which I had never beaten. It just felt weird and like I was missing something. I don’t “think like a kid” either so I got stuck REAL quick in the tutorial missions because the game was

Yes, and it’s come up several times since then WITH evidence (but with different year ranges I guess?)

I say the same about beer as a man in his mid-30s

Some devices, yes. iPhone has at least jumped on the numbering bandwagon. Macbook Pros and other similar devices are confusing as hell though. In a desire to create a “just buy a Macbook Pro, without caring about the version” they’ve let people define their own “versions”.

My second playthrough I picked Kassandra and I much prefer Alexios. I think the opposite of most people - I think Alexios voice acting is much better, and that he breathes a bit more lightheartedness to the role than Kassandra who just seems... dull and lifeless to me.

And interestingly, most people played as Alexios according to Ubisoft. Two-thirds of players picked him over Kassandra, which is surprising because people constantly talk about Kassandra as if she’s the only choice. (I am on team Alexios personally).

I think your point 3 is a great one. Online guides that tell you exactly what the “best” is are not great for MMOs.

I have to admit to not really understand the purpose of COBRA. When I was last laid off, my salary went to $0 (obviously). In order to keep my plan going, I would have had to pay $1800/mo out of pocket. It’s been similar numbers every time I’ve been between jobs. That seems insane to me, and looking into

I was thinking this too. It seems that you would need to go through this process (questions about exposure, activities outside of the home, etc) every single time you hired that babysitter, unless they literally live with you.

It seemed even more ridiculously over-the-top when biracial animated characters suddenly “had to” be played by black actors. That seems super weird, since they aren’t white OR black... they’re biracial.

I’m a huge fan of the AC series and I’ve played - and beat! - most of them. Beating games is a big deal for me, I don’t beat a ton.

“Most situations”? I don’t get what you mean by that.

I think the problem I had with it is I started DMing a group of all new players because of TAZ. We even started with the starter kit, so the first arc is literally what we played. I even took a page from Griffin’s book and started layering into the tutorial campaign my own stuff (the first time I went fuly off-book

I would venture TAZ went off the rails before episode 88 even. After the first mayyyyybe 30 episodes it went way off the rails and seemed to get self-important about it’s own plot. No more “their dad fucks a plant” and way more “the power of diversity will save the multiverse!!!!”

How is My Brother, My Brother, and Me not on this list?! That’s the ultimate “disconnect from stressful events” podcast.

Couple things. If you get Quest bars, AND YOU SHOULD, microwave them for 5-8 seconds before eating. Trust me. They also make low carb pizza that’s actually really good!

I guess I’m still confused about that story. I personally don’t believe I would a) not notice the police following me or b) actively avoid the cops pulling me over and trying to escape to my home. How do you get into the initial situation where a cop has a gun drawn outside your garage for a simple moving violation?

I am super excited about Miles Morales getting his own game. Been a fan of the character since he was created, although I am not a fan of him currently in Marvel (whole thing, he should have stayed out of 616, and is now lost in a sea of “teen heroes” who all have the same character voice).

Salt mostly, I think ;)
