@Adam: Well the TSA already treats every citizen as if they're a terrorist so it's not much of a stretch is it?

@KingHippo: Right, which was my point I guess - sales are declining for sure. No question. Significantly, too. So while I agree we need to look at the chart with a somewhat skeptical eye, since it's missing the holiday months, I don't think it will be that big a difference with them added in.

@odeed: Yeah, in Massachusetts anyway people tend to sell off their cars the first time anything goes wrong and get a new one instead. Talk about a waste. Maybe I'm biased coming from MI originally but people there tended to keep cars longer. Here, 5 years is "old" for a car. Ridiculous.

@KingHippo: I agree that it's not fair for the whole of 2010, but do you really know people clamoring to get a Wii for Christmas this year?

@jwdav: It's a pain to set up? What are you talking about? Have you ever actually used it or are you just assuming?

@dan.p: Fear does weird things to people and societies.

@Slinkytech: I completely agree with you actually, but unfortunately people in the US believe that it's wrong to "profile" people, and behavioral observation is considered profiling by some people.

@morphoyle: Yes, thank you! Friend of mine was commenting on how he likes the idea of AirPlay better because you "probably don't have to read a bunch of websites, download a bunch of third party apps, and go through tons of documentation" to get it to work.

@pwheeler: Agreed. Didn't we learn from the 90s that going against established standards for vendor lock-in (hello, IE) is going to lead to frustration in a few years time, as well as market confusion when someone buys a 360 and wonders why it doesn't work with their 360 / Windows PC / other DLNA-compatible devices?

@QLAB: I told people with 360s and without cable that they could stream Hulu to their TV via the 360 using a DLNA-enabled application like PlayOn (I worded it less techie though) and got blank stares, despite "watching Hulu/my video files on TV" as being one of their biggest must-have features.

@kaffenated: Worse than that, DLNA already exists and is what AirPlay is and has been around for a while (DLNA support uses UPnP for discovery, I believe).

So, it's DLNA done by Apple, several years late, but also forming their own standard instead of using the existing standard?

@Communist Pope: The whole point of Deadpool is that he was supposed to be a parody of Deathstroke originally. then Deadpool got way more popular than the person he was riffing on and the parody-nature of his creation was forgotten.

@SynthOno: I think the idea is to make the lines thicker. Which in this case made the dirtiness way more obvious.

@33rd°: Yeah but it's not "back", he's just making a new one every once in a while.

This is a terrible idea. People will start jumping the gun on green lights ("It was yellow") instead of just running reds with the same excuse.
