I really wish Perry Bible Fellowship was still around. :(

With Netflix streaming, though, its sort of irrelevant if a disk is sitting on the coffee table.

We already know who killed JFK, though. He killed himself to avoid a time paradox!

@Pope John Peeps II: The last good one I can remember was the Starsky and Hutch reimagining. But even that was sort of tongue-in-cheek campy. What was the last one before that? Lethal Weapon series?

So, did this idea come STRAIGHT from CrunchGear? Or did it stop somewhere else first?

@ElimGarak: I would say learning that the "other people with powers" only had them for a limited amount of time is a pretty significant addition to the mythology, personally.

@lankysob: That's fresh. Like, funky fresh.

@lankysob: I personally think "Tubular" is owed its day. Especially since these days we all communicate via tubes. It just makes sense.

@ThisGuy: Me too. Goddamn you Fruit Ninja.

@jay13x: Yeah, the Merc with a Mouth miniseries could now be called "616 Deadpool enters Marvel Zombie Universe and gets laid". Self contained story with 12 or 13 issues.

@Ruler of Eden: That's how Marvel tells it, but they didn't start calling it a "limited run" until after like 6 issues.

@Dante_Ravenkin: No, that's a fat cat. People's perceptions of fat in cats shifts as our perception of fat in people moves as well. But that is fat for a cat.

@commander_k: I seem to remember that some guy did a test where he had weapons under his clothes or something and the scanner didn't pick it up, now that you mention it. I don't remember the details though.

Oh man, my dream of A Tale of Time City being real is coming true!

Has anyone found anything using these scanners/patdowns? Is there any proof that they do anything?

@jay13x: Merc with a Mouth was cancelled a while ago.

@kreepmode: Well according to Liefeld himself, DPC is already cancelled (it was "always" a 12-issue miniseries) and this is just a publicity stunt.

@kreepmode: This is false. Liefeld is only on issues 1-9 of DPC. He's been known to be leaving after issue 9 for a while now.

@Insomnia Bob: Liefeld was off the book after issue 9 anyway.
