This, plus some sort of collection app like Shelves, is basically a giant "PLEASE STEAL FROM ME I HAVE GOOD SHIT" button.

@Crashproof: Agreed, I'm overweight (it's coming down though) but I hold my weight very odd: 100% in the stomach/chest. I have skinny legs (bulking up a bit from distance running) and skinny arms, and a gut. It's very awkward. It means NO clothes fit correctly because I'm not kidding, there's no slow progression, If

@jackdavinci: Same here, packed theater, lots of laughs, audience was engaged.

@ffejie: This is something I'm learning now at my new job - cash position is really important and sometimes it's worthwhile to balance out debt and cash on hand.

@jjswee: I think that's the issue, lots of people didn't know it was there. So I guess this announcement is good in that it's bringing the app to more people's attention, and adding some features. The ability to seamlessly send messages is nice, and I don't think the previous version did email.

@jjswee: I've used the Voice Search app in the past to text people, though? I am completely positive that I've done this because I've demoed it before. It may have technically been TWO statements ("text [name]", wait for app to open, "[message]").

Ooookay... this is creepy. Why do people care about this? You have crossed from vaguely unsettling fanboy worship straight on to stalking.

I HIGHLY doubt that the Android phone drives you to your destination, Gizmodo. If so this deserves a much bigger article than you're giving it.

@KamWrex: I just hate previews that essentially give the movie away. I really, really enjoy going to movies without knowing what they're about. There are very few trailers that tease enough to build interest but don't give away the movie.

@tande04: Well, to be fair, the prices are still mostly the same as in-store, so your weekly bill is the same, + the cost of your device if you want to factor that in.

@PunkRockMachine: Each "issue" (book) is almost 200 pages. A 200 page graphic novel for $7 is too much?

I think it's funny that Brian Lee O'Malley specifically said in an interview that digital comics don't bring the charm and fun of reading paper-comics.

@djscruffy: Technically speaking you don't really own movies if you buy them on DVD or whatever either. You own a license. Same with software, you don't "own" the software, you own a license to use the software.

Number of partners has nothing to do with frequency. Headline fail.

@djscruffy: I would normally agree with you here, since we've been hearing about the death of the book since forever.

@wickednick: You realize that eReaders don't have backlit screens? And the whole point of them is that it is the same as reading off of paper?

@Alessar: I was thinking with a name like Carpathia how long until the antichrist shows up?

@HeroOfTomorrow-the Untied States: True, but I have faith that other apps can fill that void. After all, who uses IE these days that would be in the market for a tablet anyway?

@HeroOfTomorrow-the Untied States: If you're talking about the browser pinch-to-zoom, it's more likely a limitation of IE, not Win7. I believe it's just mimicking the functionality of hitting Ctrl+ and Ctrl- ...

So they define "new service" as "new content"?
