@porath: The article literally says:

@jupiterthunder: Ah, I understand what you mean now. I kneejerked, sorry about that.

@jupiterthunder: That's not really a fair analogy at all. You can easily stop apps manually if you want to in Android. You can't easily get rid of a virus by just deleting it. Apples and oranges.

Of course, adding yet another app running in the background to monitor other apps that might be running in the background will really only help in fringe cases, everyone who doesn't have a problem is just adding another service that is taking up resources.

@ZINO: Who's talking about "all species"? Now you're just making stuff up. We're only talking about one species: us. There are countless events throughout history where a global event (meteor, etc) has killed off AT LEAST one species.

@MyExpense: I think you're confusing BioSphere 2 with BioDome the movie.

@ZINO: None of those examples you gave are global scale events, though. That's like assuming you could personally withstand an explosion intact because you skinned your knee as a kid and it healed.

@alex-y: Yeah, well, scientists (you know, those people who would ACTUALLY do the work to save humanity from a disaster?) typically disagree with you.

@HiAperture: To be fair, the system in on newegg the guy put together is better than the Mac Pro specs, so I think there's wiggle room in interpretation.

@Rick Lucey: It's also the basic plot of a Star Trek TNG episode, to explain why all the major species look so similar.

@Rick Lucey: On the other hand, given what we know about evolution, we simply seed a few planets and let evolution take its course. Give it a few hundred thousand years or so and suddenly we'll have a fun populated galaxy.

@Rick Lucey: True. Unfortunately the truth might be nothing's out there. Padadox!

@gmuslera: Not to mention the crossover TNG episode with Scotty stuck in the transporter beams. And the two-parter with Ambassador Spock.

Um, just pointing out, Deep Space Nine and Voyager also crossed over. Tom Paris and Ensign Kim start the series in Quark's.

I actually really enjoyed the episode setting up Nibbler as an actual character they interact with. I'm looking forward to how he can mix up the character dynamics, and I love that they did it without actually introducing any new characters.

It needs to be pointed out that Chrome specifically asks if your extensions should have access to incognito mode.

@NoobixCube: Of course it is, under the Civil Procedure Law.

Aren't all videos inherently four-dimensional if you watch them?

@SparklyJesus: So far, sure. And when one does? Or when they start a class action?
