@cruud: Agreed. I spent a year trying to immerse myself in Apple products a couple years back to see how the other... uh, 5% or whatever it is lives. It didn't go well.

@jeremiah89: Hear hear. I understand some people had driver issues at launch (I was not one of them, however) but I didn't mind Vista one bit. And after using Vista for a year or so, going back to XP felt like a HUUUGE step backwards.

I got suckered in to working the opening AND closing shifts for our campus computer lab (6:15AM opening, 1:30AM closing) most nights and would have class from 9AM - 2PM and then homework or lab time and then I was a TA for 3 years from 7-9PM, then right back to the

@soldstatic: You should also check out PlayOn. I use that to stream Hulu/Media/otherstuff from my PC to my PS3. It supports the 360 too.

@psychiccheese: You can do both at the same time, but you don't HAVE to do both.

@soldstatic: I assume you don't pay for cable, then? Seeing as how they charge a lot extra for "premium" movie channels, to see recent movies.

I think people are way too conditioned right now to get something for nothing.

This is exactly what I wanted. With this in place I can cut cable entirely, save like $60 / month, and get content more conveniently.

I stick with a local credit union, despite living far away.
