I’m with you. Any mass shooting is a terrible, terrifying, tragic symptom of our collectively psychotic culture, but a school, that’s gotta be the worst. Oh, or a church. Lots of kids there too, and they’re both places where it is completely reasonable - or should be - for people to expect to feel safe.

The “hatchet wounds” were superficial bruising per the local news. The victim isn’t even expected to seek treatment. Something to point out the next time gun nuts say more gun control means attackers will just used knives. I’d sooner take my chances with a knife or hatchet than a bullet.

I’m in Nashville and following it as much as I can. The 1 person dead is the shooter himself. The police press conference just confirmed that the three people who were injured had minor injuries. Shooter is apparently a 51-year-old white male..
The one dead is the shooter. You should probably make that clear unless you wanted to mislead people.
