Texas did this last week, based on what I’ve heard from my friends in the industry, it’s helped a bit, but not enough for many of them to keep their jobs.

It’s certainly my preferred apocolypse.

This is easy to believe, but I’m not certain that it’s true.  Apologies if you’re discussing something else, this was the most relevant article I found after a cursory Google search.

I love her videos so much, and this is so great.

You put into words my exact feelings about the similar items in subscription services, and almost every “get the look” post I’ve ever seen. If I wanted the mass produced polyester version of something I wouldn’t be sitting here reverse image searching like my life depends on it only to end up trapped in an endless

Dany wants a marriage with someone who cements her power; a marriage to Ned Stark’s bastard would have made sense because it ties her to one of the oldest families in Westeros and because Jon clearly has the loyalty of his people. But the sway that he has in the North and with the people becomes a threat once she

Agreed. I managed to get a perfect SAT score on the first try without studying, meanwhile my sibling, who was always the demonstrably better student by every other metric, studied for ages to get a decent score. Just like IQ tests, the only thing that standardized tests measure is a person’s ability to take that

He was genuinely very funny in “7 Days in Hell”. I could see him successfully taking a more comedic track.

As someone from Austin, yeah, fuck us. Our breakfast tacos suck.

My company uses Insights as well, though mainly as a way to start conversations about different working styles. I’ve personally taken it twice and gotten extremely different results both times, so I don’t really consider it to be unfailingly accurate the way some of my coworkers do, but I appreciate it as a device for

Insights?

I highly recommend Houndstooth next time you’re in town. Their Japanese iced coffee is life saving in the summer.

I assume you’re talking about SXSW (correct me if I’m wrong), which is definitely a marathon that requires copious amounts of caffeine, but as a native Austinite reading the words “Austin didn’t even have coffee shops until a few years ago” makes me feel like you’re talking about a parallel universe.

That is intensely comforting. Thank you.

I’m 6' and oh boy do I feel your pain. Got into a huge argument last night with a couple of my (statistically average height) guy friends about how uncomfortable I am all the damn time because even most building codes are standardized for someone who’s about 5'6" on average and I have to stoop to do almost everything.

I’m so excited to be able to share this knowledge with someone.

Oh women’s Levi’s are the absolute worst, hands down. I got another response about the men’s jeans not working for hourglass figures, so I’m happy to admit that this won’t work for everyone. I’m very tall so even though I have the wide hips/big butt/small waist combo, the length of my torso means that the lack of a

Fair enough, I have a 14" difference between my waist and hips, but I also have a very long torso so the lack of waist becomes a nonissue. Have you considered going the super old school route of buying men’s jeans and having them altered to fit?

As a size 14 I’d like to recommend just buying men’s jeans. The Levi’s 511 slims fit like a dream on me, but even if that’s not your deal men’s clothing comes in a ton of different options and the denim is better for a much lower price than women’s jeans. Also, pockets.

I’m so relieved to see someone else say this. Everything about Dany’s story seems to be leading her toward villainy and I feel like no one is talking about it.
