The material was fantastic, but I wish I could have seen the unedited versions of the jokes. As is, Doug Stanhope had me crying laughing, him talking about distended anuses coiling like sea snakes, while his boy sat on the bed next to him.

That movie was my first introduction to camera work as an unreliable narrator. The reveal at the end where the kid has been in central park while telling the story, "like, the whole time" was pretty novel to me, and sparked my interest in film. I was 9 when that came out.

I prefer Hotblack Desiato's stuntship myself. It's so black you can barely keep your eyes on it.
