The newer systems do not work, been pulling the city slickers out of ruts a lot this season. There was a series of good ramp test type vids on youtube that explain to the common person how each system is suppose to work but actually (doesn't) work.

Agree 100%. All those people saying "blerg AWD doesn't help in snow get snow tires blerg" are missing key points:

Hand crank sunroof: no. People think hand-operated mechanisms are more reliable, but they really aren't. People are ham-fisted and break them often. At least with a motor the mechanism can be designed around a known, fixed amount of torque and will shut off when it reaches the end of its travel.
