No. People are whining like children because they think it isn’t divided into subsections. I’m here to tell you it is. That’s if you even GET the glass roof. It’s an OPTION.

Except it’s not really continuous.
There are. The project leader said they are using a unique new way of air circulation for the vehicle. It has to do with all the empty space on the dash.
With all the instant torque from one of these motors, I’D like to see YOU make a FWD Tesla. That’s not exactly how physics work. They would never go FWD.
Then don’t get it!!! It’s optional!!!
As with the other Teslas, the glass roof will be UV protected with a large polarization process. The glass roof will also be optional and a metal roof will be standard. The big rear piece of glass, since it’s key to maintaining rear passenger headroom, will be kept on all models.
You’re missing a KEY part of all this. Since the wheelbase is SO long and the interior space is maximized, the rear seats sit directly over the rear wheels and are pushed back into the space where storage would normally be in a Model S. So, no, I highly disagree that it should have a hatch. It would be a pointless…
Stability for variable terrain probably.
Supposedly the dash is very simplistic with the sole 15" screen in order to have an innovative way of circulating air through the cabin (among other reasons).
The speedo is in big font on the top left of the screen directly within peripheral. It’s even closer to the driver than a Prius speedometer, for example.
Disagree that they intended for a grille. They never planned that.
They are... The engineer project leader I heard basically confirmed that the 15" screen is the only display they are having. The speed is displayed in bold font at the top left directly within peripheral and is supposed to work fine.
The steering wheel did seem quite a bit off-center in your car but, then again, not an issue they can’t resolve with time.
What number were you guys in line??
No, no, no!!!
Haha, exactly. Fist bump to a fellow Georgian.
The X was NOT more complete than this when it was shown in 2012. You have it backwards.
No need to have seen it first. The deposit is 100% refundable.
Amazing exterior design. The interior is quite understyled. It’s literally straight lines and a giant screen that will look outdated fast. They better be planning to include a very functional HUD or something to help read the speed easier.
Yeah, they did. And it’s worse.
