It is somewhat so; yes. But that's because it was completed before 2007. These weren't bad Civics at all.

Honda had taken a sharp turn for the worst after 2010, but they had already been hovering around this path since about 2000. I was a Honda enthusiast. Any Honda pre-2000 or so is acceptable to me. I was even one of the lucky few who purchased a new 2008 Mugen Civic Si.
Ian Callum is amazing.
I couldn't care less if you believe me. All you need to know is that I won that case by myself without an attorney. They were legally obligated to buy that pile back. Another one of my friends also had me help them with their case.
It's a 26 year-old northern vehicle with a poor reconditioning. Not worth it.
Yeah, because not only have I experienced 2 failures of modern Hondas, but Honda themselves have reaffirmed what I already knew. During the lemon law hearing I went to for one of the Hondas, the Honda engineer literally admitted several times that they use extremely poor components for critical areas and know it…
Once again, look at the rating for the vehicle I own; I already knew about this index. You seem to think you are right but this index says otherwise.
Says the guy with a Mercedes-Benz C111 as a profile pic.
Interesting. Do you mind telling me the scores my vehicle received in the quality report you just referenced? Compare them to your Honda products. You referenced this index, so it'll be funny if you try to challenge it.
No. Even with some defective Honda products, some people become scared off and begin to think it's still OK to drive something like this and put money into them. They are so blinded by brand image that they literally continue to believe nothing is better.
Good for you. They have been poorly-engineered piles of reiterated technology for the last 15 years or so. The quality-control is nothing short of a joke and the materials are relatable to plastic childrens' toys. The ergonomics are terrible, and driving dynamics are inexcusable. This is coming from someone with 2…
They get stuck with them because they have to pay off the car or can't afford to sell it after paying out of pocket as soon as the short warranty expires, "asshat."
Yeah, because people get stuck with them because of financial restrictions.
Did anyone else notice the absolutely ravaged Maybach 62?
If you combine the worst Volkswagen platform ever with a W8 engine (from hell) and expect to drive it, you'll probably end up on fire and in a ditch somewhere within 5 hours.
Well, at least French vehicles are available there (even though I don't want 90% of them).
1997 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 with the 5.7L. Please don't make me think about it. I want to vomit every time I do. I literally think it was assembled in the worst way possible, which makes sense given the GM factory protests of the time.
What country are you in?
My friends and family have driven Volvos for decades. They aren't afraid to pay-up for the utmost preventative maintenance. There's an S90 with 300k miles, a 240 wagon with 400k miles... etc.
Newer Hondas are absolute heaps of shit, but the herds of brand image followers will continue supporting them. Funny thing is I also went from a Honda to owning MB and never looked back once.
