W8 Passats are probably the worst vehicles on planet Earth.

I'm questioning peoples' ideals for putting a Lincoln LS or Saab 9-3 in front of a 220 S-Class.
Exactly.
This is true. But, if all else fails, don't agree to meet someone who has a Hummer H1 in a dark alley.
This is the winner.
This is certainly the most expensive.
I'd love to see the reactions of some tourists who drove by one of those Fiat dealers.
Any pre-2003 S430 or S500 with Distronic is a rarity; it's even crazier to find one combined the steering wheel you want. The only chance you could find one like this is if you found someone who ordered one with EVERY option and didn't drive it too much. Try to stick to one with less than 100k miles and only buy if it…
A V70R in flash green would be heaven on wheels.
That's actually a huge misconception.
You need ALL the service records. No exceptions. I'm also not a fan of the 7G-Tronic transmissions, so my limit is 2000-2003 model years only. Make sure critical maintenance has been done. Check the catalytic converters. Flush trans. and diff. fluid and all other fluids and check the electronics.
Storage damage my ass. The thing was driven every weekend and had maintenance done every 500 miles.
I'm sorry, but I've been through quite the experiences with 220-platforms. I've had them for many years. If it was any standard low-to-mid-grade vehicle like a Camry, I'd be inclined to agree it has low-mileage. Its not. It's a 220 MB. The majority of these cars were not driven very often. I own a 2000 model-year with…
Nice. I have an '05 V70 with the turbocharged 2.5 liter.
No kidding. I just made it a point that it's a lot harder to find any V70R in this price-range.
20k miles on a 10-year old vehicle is super-low miles. Saying a vehicle with 106k miles simply has low miles is almost stretching it.
Not exactly. I consider myself an expert of 220 platform MB. I can spot any inconsistency. This vehicle was part of a collection in Virginia and was a similar build to The 2000 I already own. It literally sat in a garage for 12 years but still had very timely maintenance.
The timepiece makes that interior.
I don't trust an LS simply because they are gas-guzzlers. What year is your S60?
I don't trust anyone who says a vehicle with 106k on the odometer is "super-low miles."
