With the introduction of the fully digital tach I was hoping they would turn to a simpler, airy dash design like the TT and R8. But unfortunately they saw a reason to stick even more screens in there.

The ornament shouldn’t be more expensive at the dealer. At least in Germany it is not. Plus they normally replace it on your car for nothing more than a smile! You should try it some time ;)

I still fondly remember mine. My first ever car. 118hp 200TE from 1992 with 5-speed manual. Signal red.

You do know this is the old one!?

Perfect excercise for a Saturday evening. So here goes nothing!

I think so too quite often. But then I remember some stories about engine failures from new car buyers and the horrid insurance premiums and I am back to a Cayman S...

If you have to sticker your Cayman choose this:

Mmmh. Not really. Although the variance between the colors are not always easy to make out!

Are these pics available in HQ somewhere?

Well maybe the difference between a W203 and a W220 was bigger than it is today between the W205 and W222. Otherwise you would have felt robbed no? But the difference is still very noticable between todays iterations in my opinion.

So you have never driven an S Class. I actually feel for you to be honest.

Is there any video of a Hellcat going 200mph...on public roads even?

Down badging is also a thing but you will have to look really closely. An RS6 with a little “TDI” logo in the back, an E63 marked as an “E200 CDI”.

They are not wasting their time...they will be ahead very soon, when electricity won’t be as cheap as it is anymore.

And I can’t even watch it in Germany...f this!

Now playing

Ferraris of old seem to be quite able too. I guess it depends on the driver as well.

You should have said hi. I only work a minute from there. Wink wink

Saw it at the museum and it was only short of immaculate. It already sold though...

About cars yeah...is there a way I can filter out all the plane/military/motorcycle stuff? I have a feeling less than 50% of the frontpage are car-related stories these days.

Ehmmm. I think you followed me...or did I follow you? My round up on Insta certainly looked similar to yours :D
