I feel the same. My family thought I was crazy for buying a used 02 over the new 2005 then.

It’s a good question because you can apply Doug’s answer to any car not just high-performance sedans. We need to vote with our wallets in the new-car showroom. Enough people did this for BMW to offer a manual transmission in the M5. But with the amount of DCT’s I ran into when I was in the market for one, I’m not so…
Exactly. This is the most important part of the article:
It is based on the Nissan Patrol which is pretty handy. But actually seeing them off-road in America, that’s another story.
I forgot about the painted plastics haha. I had them in a 2002 Maxima, I still loved that car.
I’ll agree with you on that, but $2k a month is after at least $40k down. And while most people could manage the payment it’s the down payment that keeps most people away.
Haha you’re right I didn’t like it. It was better than the E9x and the C class I’ll give you that, but the styling just didn’t work for me.
Exactly. Everybody here is making jokes as if the owner of the car did it.
Evolving the interior design means thinking it was pretty good before. It was rubbish in 2007 and a BMW M sport steering wheel can’t save it now.
I think even if Lexus fixed the grille, not many jalops would buy one.
This style of interior debuted on the 2007, which looks exactly like the picture you posted. I googled “2007 g35 interior” and this is one of the pics that came up. I thought I was the only one who thought Infiniti is peddling the same interior. It’s not like it was ever a good interior even when it debuted. I can…
Think of the macbooks as Land Cruisers and it will make more sense.
Right. And the $1700 computer will be running optimally the entire time. Meanwhile you’ll be aching to replace the $500 one after a year or two.
Touchless car washes are great.
There are enough S63’s and Bentleys that drive by my office with snow all over them for me to assume it’s just an excuse. I see them when I take my leased cars to the brush-equipped washes. You and I are in the significant minority in caring about the finish of our cars.
They don’t want to use a brush to clean their car because it “will scratch my paint”, yet they’ll happily go through this type of car wash.
Yes, even the sports.
It could be but crucially it is missing that chrome lower character line. The Pontiac G6 sedan and Hyundai Sonata have it though.
I can really see this car pushing Mercedes past BMW in sales soon.
