And why is that? Is it the gold chain?
And why is that? Is it the gold chain?
You’re right. I know everybody replied to you and said “Hey the difference is in the interior idiot” but I think very few people spend over $1500/month to lease a car entirely because of the interior and not at all for prestige, exclusivity, or owning the standard bearer of automobiles. They won’t be happy. And it…
Very true. Look at Rosberg defending in Bahrain 2012. He forced Alonso and Hamilton off the track the same way he tried in Barcelona this year.
Hamilton knew Ricciardo would force the issue on the inside line and couldn’t afford to collide with him. Which is why he had to put a “desperate” move protecting the inside line. Ricciardo did it to Vettel last race and Vettel had to back out to avoid collision.
Ricciardo did well to close right up on Hamilton whenever the Briton was about to lap a slower car. He did it repeatedly. Hamilton simply took the inside line to defend which was wet, so of course he will not have enough grip for braking. But considering he got such a poor exit due to his wet tires, the stewards…
LOL moving and defending the inside line is a desperate move!? You’re right he should have just let Ricciardo past just like Raikkonen did in Monaco last year. Or how Vettel had to take evasive action when Ricciardo lunged on the inside in Spain 2016.
Rosberg did the same thing last race and it was deemed a racing incident. Hamilton was entitled to one defensive move and he made it.
If this had a flat six you wouldn’t need any options, the car is so satisfying you forget about the extras. I know because I just got one with only heated seats as an option.
There is no lease support on the M2. You are leasing the M3 at a good money factor and residual as its been out for a while same for the 2 series. It'll come down.
You described the acceleration of a literbike perfectly. Thank you.
I wasn’t aware of that. Leasing is extremely car/trim dependent. Example: The RR Sport SE has a great residual but as you go up the lines it goes down dramatically.
They do make a difference. You haven’t seen any 981's with halogens because my Boxster was such a low spec it’s almost guaranteed to be rarer than any 918 Spyder haha.
I used to work at a Honda dealer when the Accord Sport came out and somebody was cleverly stealing the wheels before the car got wheel locks installed. This meant stealing the wheels the night the cars got unloaded off the truck. For a thief their market of people to sell these wheels to increases by 400,000 each…
981 - All Boxsters come standard with LED daytime running lights.
I agree but this certainly doesn’t apply to Porsches. After being out for almost 20 years Porsche finally makes xenons standard on the 718 Boxster. My car is a 2016 and I have halogens and no Bluetooth audio :(
This is not his first op-ed. The Times wouldn’t keep him on the payroll if people didn’t find his opinion entertaining. If it really bothers you that much just tune in to his car content.
What about the Kia Sedona?
It’s funnier when people here endlessly complain about the Lexus predator grille. As if that is the main reason they're holding off buying one.
I didn’t know about this. Sounds about right. Same thing happened with Z06's near the end of the C6 production run. Even though Chevy hardly produced any from 2010-2013 they were being sold for at least $15k off sticker as the starting point of negotiations. There was a lot of backlash among the Z06 guys about…
Haha yes selective ignorance. The phrases: “Only suckers buy new cars!” followed by “Carmakers don’t care about us!” make perfect sense to them.
