The money did follow only the emphasis on quality didn't. As Doug said cars are only built to last their leases.

It's a car that really only appeals to enthusiasts and I think the ones who could afford one, got it already, and now there is a group who are waiting for the used ones. The newness of it really stuck out, but now it's tough. It needs a refresh. The Miata can get away with 155 hp because young guys aren't lining up to

This is great. If anything happens to a Sauber on track I won't have to explain 'What team the gray car was on', my family will recognize immediately it's a Sauber.

My S class is scary at that. I agree with you. I traded it for a Corvette and even in 6th gear at 70 mph I'm at about 1500 rpm. Sometimes I end up doing above 80 and can't even hear any sort of stress on the engine. Cruise control is my friend.

This study doesn't bode well for those of us trying to convince people to drive smaller cars. SUV's always fare pretty well. Even against car some wouldn't consider small like a Corvette. If a drunk SUV driver hits you in your Jalop car head on, you're done.

We just might see Mclaren going all out for their testing though.

The S Class is more reliable. There's a reason why Land Rover was the first to introduce "pick your car up from home and service/repair it" service first.

What color were you expecting then? Maybe they went with a low key one instead of some Marlboro colors of their championship winners so if they don't collect a championship it's not so bad. We might see more bold colors when they're regularly fighting for wins.

I like it. It's nice. Do you miss the wide rear wings of the pre-2009 cars? I'm still not liking these skinny wings they just look like kit cars to me.

The wide rear wing and small front wing makes the car look really aggressive. These new cars...not really.

What year and type of Mercedes do you have? I had a 2009 S class and agree the system was useless. The only thing better than this BMW system is that it replaced the speedometer so I could keep my eyes center.

No need to mention any studies, the Accord and Camry are built right here in America. So is the Pilot and Odyssey. Tundra.

This is pretty cool and I'd definitely want to do this in the future, but right now I only have a 6 disc changer and an AUX. After some suspension work I think I'll add a nav head unit with an SD card reader.

That's pretty cool. So the USB and drive are always hidden? In a storage compartment or something? I've got a changer in my Corvette and my CD's are permanent residents, but it is alarming to see people going through their visor cd bank for something to play.

Wow I didn't know any of that. The eventual prevalence of AMG-GT's is both good and bad. Bad because they won't be valued as much as they should be, good because we will see more of them. Many people were upset when the new Z06 was announced to be available in convertible and automatic versions. Personally I'm happy

Haha but it's not any kind of hifi! I'd love a cassette player in my car nevertheless.

I love CD's. With the endless music available to you with Spotify and your own library on your phone/ipod, I like just having a CD. The music is set, doesn't use data, doesn't drain battery, and the clarity is wonderful. It's like cheap hifi compared to what most stuff is streamed at.

The tighter package any engine manufacturer would aim for definitely as you said. The fitting it to the chassis and seeing how it works is more what I was thinking.

I think even dealers view this car as a trim level no matter how much they paid for it. I saw a silver/red used SLS roadster just covered in snow right outside a local Mercedes showroom. It broke my heart. I love the SLS, I like to think of it as a polished version of my Z06. I drive my car everyday, salty roads or

Right, but who's to say Honda wouldn't have suffered through the same mistake Renault and Ferrari did? That year off really got them to take notice if they hadn't already. As you said, the unveils will be soon. What do you think the order is going to be?
