It didn't operate as such and it was clearly obvious last year. Here are quotes about that from Christian Horner:

I feel like most of the people who really wanted one got one already. The new-ness was really the only thing that stuck out to the average buyer in the beginning, but it's not new anymore. You really need to drive this car to get it, as the spec sheet obviously doesn't jump out to you.

I'm glad you brought up the turbo's in the V because that is one way to do it. Even if we take Honda's engine design on paper as being totally conventional and not innovative, the fact it has long integrated it well into the Mclaren chassis is extremely valuable. Just look at how with a non-well packaged engine Red

I'd like to add if you go on the last day of the month and especially if that date falls on Saturday, you deserve the wait.

It's a little more but that's for the surety of a car you drove and took care of. That is so valuable. I realized the used thing may not be for me anymore having just sold my BRZ (purchased new) for a used Corvette. The knowledge my BRZ was really taken care of speaks more than a frequent service record on a Carfax.

I appreciate your points as many people do not think about these things. However when it came time to helping my family lease a car, I learned everything I could about it and what factors are in your control and what are not.

The V6 is useless anyway. Tons of torque steer.

Residuals and manufacturer support. BMW has always had strong leases. Lexus only recently started offering some enticing ones (namely on the RX and GS).

He didn't need to put that in there. Because if Tom needs to put in a disclaimer "Hey borrowing money isn't often free" then there would need to be disclaimers for everything. And you can't please everybody. Like the guy who needed a "Jalopnik doesn't condone human trafficking" disclaimer. No need to call the whole

If you think of him as leasing something else for that $31k and then paying $23k for an S4 he knows inside and out, that's pretty cool. Leasing to own always costs more. Rent-a-center's business model is built upon that.

Personally I buy cars, but I recommend leasing to my family and friends. Here is why:

Because Renault and Ferrari had no target. So they ended up with the wrong configuration and cannot even correct the error of their ways as development is restricted with this token system.

I don't think anyone could have gotten past Petrov. In that position you have to be very careful. Ferrari weren't even aware of Vettel until it was too late I believe.

Lovely color. Congrats!

I know but with all this talk about fairness, this is not fair at all to Renault and Ferrari. Even less so than how people perceived Honda was 'wronged'.

There is no shame in copying in a tightly regulated Formula. The team they're powering copied Red Bull's front wing.

Ridiculous.

I think you are greatly underestimating what Honda is capable of, especially with time on their hands.

Why wouldn't I assume with extra time Honda wouldn't have had at least a primitive form of the Mercedes style unit? Do you think with no restrictions Honda made an engine design similar to Renault or Ferrari and said "Yeah let's stick with this"?

It's not a whole year of development that Honda is missing out on. It's a few months. Those who don't homologate 2015 engines in the beginning, have to use 2014 engines until they set their 2015's. That means if Ferrari decides to use a 2014 engine and get some development in for their 2015 units, that is one of the
