Honda didn't need to open up a Mclaren and look at the engine to see what's the best route. Everything was already open as the season started. Putting turbo's between the banks of cylinders, etc.

Don't get me wrong, Hamilton's immaturity has always been annoying. But since it was just them fighting for the title I chose to ignore that. I'm sure if Rosberg pulls something crazy again I won't be too disgusted. It's expected now.
Even if you remove the component of 2014, Honda still needs to homologate something. Or maybe ask Mclaren to lease some Mercedes engines so it can race the first four races, then homologate with everyone else.
You're right. Renault of course had to be fast enough to even be in second place to collect those wins. Ferrari didn't deliver a fast car, which is on balance more important. A fast car can get you out of tough situations Formula 1 frequently presents you with. Hamilton was sure to be screwed in Singapore last year…
While I agree with your assessment of Ferrari, please don't forget Alonso was supplied with a reliable car, which was instrumental in his title challenges of 2010 and 2012.
Renault sure would have liked more time last year, but homologation dates were set. As they are this with Honda.
Yes, I'm very serious. I understand the need to welcome, but Honda got a huge leg up sitting out the first season.
I don't think Honda twiddled its thumbs or copied Mercedes. The problems other manufacturers face are fundamental flaws in the engine on paper.
The battle behind Mercedes will be exciting enough without Honda pulling any fast ones.
Right. Honda has never had a V6 turbo homolgated. So why should it benefit from in season development?
But these are what the rules are at the moment. There is no homologation date. Honda doesn't even have an engine set for competition with the FIA yet. So they have to certify it in order to compete. Or would you rather Mclaren sit out the first four races so Honda can homologate their engines when others are likely…
You do realize honda is only supplying an engine to one team? I can understand if it was supplying to more than one but for now it affects one team.
Right. Honda enters a season late and it wants things the same as before. If this were any team asking for such a thing the reaction would be much different. And it effectively is only one team, Mclaren, which is using the engine anyway.
That's true. But they left, came a season late and want the same benefits as before. It doesn't work like that.
Honda is wrong on this. It left the sport. Then it decides to sit around and watch the 2014 season. It was learning countless things chief among which is packaging the motor and the chassis perfectly (like Mercedes proved).
Those pinched vents look a lot like the CTS. Not a bad interior to be similar to.
Minivans rock. I would definitely appreciate a good alternative to the Odyssey.
I think it would be better if they added those luxury features as a trim level rather than splitting it off to the luxury brand. I actually like having all the features wrapped in a Honda or Toyota badge.
By all accounts I should shit on 220's because I had to pick my uncle up 3 times when his 2002 S430 stranded him.
The Mercedes ML replacement, the new X5 all look ugly and worse than their predecessors. I think the old X5 was so mean looking. The new one in any light colors looks soft. Anyone living in a wealthier area will have to endure these idiotic designs for many many years.
