As long as the mounts are adjustable to fit a universal size they shouldn’t look dated. I would make them an accessory option and removable. As for Tesla’s large screen - I absolutely hate it. In fact it is one of my major gripes with the Model 3 and one of the primary reasons I would not buy the car - the other being

oh. eff. this.

Ford can suck a fat one. This product strategy and marketing is bullshit.

You want a hot hatch? Go buy a GTI, Veloster N, or CTR.

I’m critical of the massive touchscreens taking over in cars for a few reasons that are more cognitively oriented:

“These folks can’t even figure out that nothing but a big touchscreen is usable in a car.”

But what about the rental car looks? Wasn't that part of the fun with the SS

Err, that exactly what the SS was. If you’re referring to looks that’s a different story.

The Chevy SS was exactly what it, “should have been.” It was a contractually obligated run-out special of a V8 powered Australian large sedan. They made as many as they were required to do at a price that was barley a break-even. Stop complaining and be grateful that they were forced to sell them here.

I disagree. I think a back to basics 10 year old sports car is perfect, and I also feel the same about the 4Runner.

But then again, I just bought a 12 year-old Miata six months ago and I love it. It’s loud as shit and not even all that fast, although not terrible.

370z is 10 years old = bad

You guys have it all wrong. What they’re announcing is the return of the manual transmission for the CX-5. The D in skyactiv-D stands for “Do your own shifting.”

I don’t know what the market case is for the diesel anymore now that they’re offering the turbo 2.5 in the CX-5. Rated 27/31 mpg with over 300 ft-lbs of torque, and more horsepower than their 2.2D could ever muster.

As a CX-5 owner, I just think this diesel model will fail here. Diesels are already a poor seller on normal passenger vehicles, especially after these multiple diesel scandals tarnishing their reputation.

Can you imagine if one could approximate the performance of an athlete by counting their anuses?

Id be happiest with a WRX competitor, doesn’t even need to be STi, Golf R, or focus RS for me. Nice looking and kinda fun while affordable is great. I love the hot hatches that can keep up with really nice sports cars but some of us are kinda poor and just want something that’s kinda fun and within budget even if it’s

I guess those cops really hate fast food.

This concept is bad, however air travel has never been more affordable or accessable.

If they wanted me to call it the “crossbow” then they should have named it the “crossbow.” I’m calling it the “exbow” and nobody can stop me.
