There’s something about the way the magical elements glint and glimmer in the animation that sets it apart; I can see the smooth movement of it all in my mind, and I remember wondering how that magic looked so magical with that medium. Also, the owl and its abode is incredibly creepy.

Their direct backer videos really did make them seem super nice and very passionate about their work. I backed Twilight Zone and Star Trek TNG both, and in general I prefer their tables to Zen’s. Zen makes some solid tables, and they can do a lot more, but they feel less like pinball tables and more like pinball video…
