I definitely save scummed this quest to see every interaction and option.

Hell yeah Ethan. Im super jazzed about the expansion and can’t wait for it. How does it compare in scope so far? I felt like Plague of Shadows was larger than Specter of Torment, gameplay wise.

Agreed. Obviously it can go wrong, but there are plenty of instances of a third party carrying on a complex fictional world/mythology successfully, e.g. Sanderson’s conclusion of Wheel of Time after Jordan’s death having been better than Jordan’s own latter books in the series.

Just because someone didn't work on the previous entries doesn't mean they don't understand the inner workings. The inverse is true as well. Just because someone did work on the previous entries doesn't mean that they have good ideas for moving it forward.

No joke I once bent a PCB and it still worked. Like bent at a line completely 180 degrees and then put back together straight.

This is helpful when you are working with newer parts in a modern time. In years past, maybe not so much.

The screen. It just turned into a cloud that poofed out from the back of the truck like a literal toxic fart

Breaking a mobo is more likely installing components it doesn’t like. The safest method is using the same brand of hardware for it, and some research on what it tolerates(Read your mobo manual - always!). My brother fried a few mobos trying to experiment with different hardware. Let’s say I learned from his mistakes.

What a cute little cloud of lead, cadmium and arsenic...

What vaporized? The screen or the truck?

I remember watching a garbage truck try to crush one of those screens edge wise, and the whole thing just vaporized.

Wow my younger sister did the exact same thing when she was young. It fell on top of her legs and we rushed upstairs to find her sitting on the floor of the living room crying with a TV, screen down, on top of her legs. She was like 2-3 years old at the time. Couldn’t reach the channel wheel so she climbed the damn

Totally understand. One of the jobs I held in the past was at a recycling plant in the mid 1980s. One of our regular clients was the big RCA TV plant just outside of Circleville OH.

My brother, when he was like 6, climbed our entertainment center and pulled our big CRT TV down on top of him, crushing his leg and destroying the whole center. BUT the TV was fine. We used it for years after that. (My brother was fine too, once his leg healed and was removed from the cast.)

Seeing the flex of a motherboard when trying to install anything is a real breath holding, “Nononononononono!” moment.

This is relatable. I remember buying my first graphics card while in high school for our home computer; it’s pretty crazy to think my parents implicitly trusted me to install it myself without breaking anything.

Oh hell yes, that’s right. Titanfall 2 is on PS+ this month. Get it get it get it get it.

I'm now convinced I'm living in the wrong multiverse. Everything is wrong. Bob is now winning. Congrats to Bob, because apparently this is our new reality.

Go Bob!
