I completely agree with you on Bastion. It was such a revelation to me when it first came out. I’ve been meaning to play it again, too.

Of course he’s a republican. lol
Transistor was good, and I think it deserves a revisit. I recall being impressed much more with the worldbuilding, design, and story than the combat.
I am still so angry about how good the worldbuilding is in Transistor.
Control starts out creepy and unnerving and slowly becomes silly in the best way. Really enjoyable game.
The reason I make that statement is because very few teams, if not no one, were doing what those games were doing at the time. Those games weren't just great gameplay, incredible visuals, and amazing soundtracks on a console, but they were the complete packages. On top of that, they were challenging the idea that 1,…
Bastion such a great game, one of mye fav, and the Music tough omg so good. While i dont know wether i personally think i would put it on alist of 3 indies that gave just a impactful experince as triple aaa , well opinions good game
Dont try to learn anything about control outside of what you already know. I didnt even read many reviews outside of kotaku and polygon but I just love learning all the shit in the game as I go along. Remedy is so good at world building.
They are Japanese pull style saws used for dovetails and other joinery. I much prefer pull saws, since one of the ways steel gets its strength is in tension (pulling on it). They are way easier to start and to control. Traditional western style saws largely cut on the push, which require much more effort. Think to the…
Maybe not a popular opinion but I’ve been having fun with COD:MW on Xbox One. I should also get my last part for my new PC today so I’ll be finalizing that and getting it all updated and set up!
My 9 year old got hooked on Skyrim so I’ll be trying to get him to do something else so he doesn’t play 14 hours of the game straight through again.
I just finished Control--and I loved where all the ending missions took me, just fantastic story--so now I’m getting back into No Man’s Sky as a chill time during all the forthcoming holiday time crunch. I’m excited for the latest updates, though when I launched my last save my guy instantly fell from nowhere on to…
I’ve never heard of dozuki saws - thanks for an interesting little google journey.
Outer Wilds is a must play, and so is Obra Dinn, so there are no wrong choices there.
Control is worth it no matter the specs.
I got back into Maplestory, so that’s been a fun trip down memory lane. They’re running an event right now where you can create a character and every time you level up, you level up twice more (so 1-4-7-10-13 etc), so it’s easier to get to midgame/endgame stuff and really start seeing some of the fun skills.
Still playing through Pokemon Shield although I think I might be wrapping that up (or at least wrapping up playing a lot every day, there’s still daily stuff I’ll do). I’m thinking of getting Obra Dinn and/or Outer Wilds (not Outer Worlds) soon, maybe even this weekend. Depends how busy I am with stuff. Wish I could…
Most likely messing with the new items in Super Mario Maker 2, assuming my left Joycon doesn’t start drifting...
I just got the 8th badge in Pokemon Sword. I want to work on the Pokedex for a bit before I go to the championship matches. Also will be going all in on Control for PS4. I really really like the lore of the game and that is whats keeping me hooked.
The Outer Worlds hooked me. My wife had a work thing last night, so I played for a solid 6 straight hours and, yeah, that sounds like there’s more in the upcoming days.
