thank you very much
thank you very much
OT: my partner’s grandpa passed yesterday morning. He held on for a good week and half. Even at 97, he was very hearty.
The skateboarding is like early Bart Simpson troublemaker, which is to say not really. The firecracker thing, to me, is still bully behavior.
In response to saying that some of theses pranks and events in the game carried an air of innocence to it is like looking at movies like Animal House or Revenge of the Nerds and ignoring the implications of their actions, like the sexual assault and voyeurisms that exists in both. It’s not really innocence, its…
I’ve had to get rid of a few things over the years, and I’ve always regretted it. I’m not a huge collector, but I always trying to hold onto that stuff. Still have my original NES and Gameboy.
Playing this back on the PS2, I remember it being fun but not so much now. The school life bit was interesting, but fell away in the second half of the game. It had the vibe of the raucous 80s college movies smashing into the Dead Poets Society except that most of the characters are unlikeable, sociopathic assholes.…
Yes, lets give it up for Euro-styled date writing! Remember kids, its day-month-year!
Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I think cooking a whole bird (turkey or chicken) at home is one of the most cost effective ways to prepare poultry.
OT: We got word that my partner’s grandpa was doing better yesterday, more awake and alert and eating and all that. Sometimes people can surprise you.
I’d echo Fahey saying that I’ve enjoyed every one of the consoles that I’ve gotten, but I’d have to say that the one I’ve enjoyed the least is the OG Xbox. There wasn’t anything wrong with it, I was just much more into the PS2 and Gamecube at that point.
It’s been a very tough weekend. We got the call on Friday that my partner’s grandpa, who is in a rest home and contracted covid, doesn’t have much time left. We rushed to the home and were able to say our goodbyes, but the rest of the weekend was just waiting which still continues.
In a way, I am totally not surprised by that lol.
Sakura: Of Rice and Ruin sounds really interesting. I think I would want more seduction of grains of rice, but that’s just me. This weekend will continue the healing process, and I hope to play some more Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Yakuza: Like A Dragon. I might re-decorate my island in Animal Crossing too. Gotta…
Glad you like it Ash. Miracle of Sound has some real bangers.
That’s what I’ve told her. Unfortunately, she was done a disservice growing up by being told that you always had to be doing something, that it was wrong to not be “productive”. She internalized that from a pretty young age, and it’s made it difficult to actually relax. In the past and especially now, it’s created…
The Bayonetta series has always been one that I’ve had on my list of games I want to play, but just haven’t gotten around to. I’ve got to work on rectifying that. In the meantime, here is a song in the style of Bayonetta.
There was a significant aspect of this controller that blew ass, and that was it's battery life.
I’ve been going heavily into Bear to get Heavy Dual Wielding, and I’ve found just regular heavy weapons to be extremely effective so far.
It took me like 7 hours to leave Norway. I’m basically in the same boat as you.
OT: I started up Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, and I finally got to England. I didn’t play Origins or Odyessy, so this feels very much like a return to the form of the games from AC1 through AC3. In fact, I’ve already been getting heavy AC3 vibes. I’m that odd person who actually liked the modern day stuff, so I’m glad…
