In my section of Pennsylvania, its actually been cooler with nights in the 60s and days in the 80s. I’m glad that the scorching heat of July has passed, but this brought me to thinking about what we are going to do for heating this winter. We have baseboard heating, but that sucks and I hate it. After talking with my

Hollow Knight I did get into, but I just didn’t stick with it. Much like Iconoclasts.

Since we are hearing this from the publisher 505 Games instead of the developer Remedy, I’m guessing their hurdles have to do more with legal and distribution problems rather than technical ones.

I’ve played a bit of Spelunky, but will admit to not really getting into the game. It just doesn’t interest me that much no matter how hard I tried.

I only got part way through Re-Armed, and I was liking what I was playing at the time, but I think that was the implication. That it was a direct sequel to the original.

It’s ok. The situation seems to have worked its way out as best as possible. People believe me and my position, but end result is that we are going to have to do it vendor’s way. It’s better than what I was expecting, which was to be ignored because my concerns are depressing and technical and falling on non-technical

Super glad you dont have that over your head.

I love it what when I see something is going to be a problem and I point that out to the people who need to approve it and don’t get a response, that there are a flurry of emails about it being a problem the next day. Fuck you vendors, and your goddamn power plays.

The opening for Bionic Commando definitely gives me the vibes of being a disillusioned and haggard solider whose only skills are related to killing and being tired of it all, who is being ferried into a war torn area where there are no more good guys, only survivors. I’m pulling way more late Metal Gear themes into

Tales of Ba Sing Se is like the premier episode of Avatar: TLA. Another highlight is Zukho Alone, but you would have seen that one already.

Sony is the over-invested theater parent to Spider-man’s theater kid, in all aspects. They will do anything and everything to ensure that media featuring Spider-man comes out, especially to make sure that Disney has no cause for terminating the licensing agreements they are all tangled up in.

*lights black candles for melodramatic goth effects*

It was said months ago that things like this would be happening, and its just going to continue. With Sony’s reliance on pushing new consoles, I wonder if they are going to blink on pushing back first party games like Microsoft did and/or how they are going to spin a diminished launch library.

The difference between the two opening tracks is like night and day. Listening to the album version, it definitely comes across as something written and mixed for mono sound, then converted to stereo after it was mastered. The balance is definitely left heavy, and you can really hear it in the tom fills. The fills

I’m sure there were games in my life that I was disappointed by, but as a child I got so few games. Late 80s early 90s parents didn’t understand the thrust of this burgeoning hobby for many children, so we were happy with the scraps that we were given. The first game that I spent money on that I was really, truly,

I did, and probably would go with that except that my desk is 30 inches deep. Having on the wall would solve a lot of problems, and just generally get it out of the way when I’m not using it.

Getting used to the new desk setup. I like it, but I wish there was another place for the mic boom. The only desk had an edge on the side, so I could clamp it there. The new desk doesn’t have side edges (sides and top are flush), so the boom is clamped on the front of the desk. It’s fine, but not what I would like.

Now playing

Don’t forget this little Hip Tanaka classic too:

I use a logitech g613, and love it. If I’m going to spend a decent chunk of change on a keyboard, it better be 10 key plus macro keys plus make me a cup of hot chocolate.
