I have very fond memories of watching This Old House, The New Yankee Workshop, and similar shows on PBS with my dad. Whenever my partner says she wants to do something around the house, I tell her to find the This Old House video about it. It is definitely the only good home improvement show ever, being focused on

Been very exhausted lately from work. There will be more work this weekend too. My new desk should be getting here today, so when I’m not working this weekend, I’ll be taking my existing desk apart, moving it back into my studio, then setting the new desk up in the office, along with all the accouterments and such

Wow, they are going ham in that 90's wall of sound kind of way. The Megaman franchise is just a stand out on music throughout it’s many series. One of my favorite remixes from the X series is of the X vs Zero fight from Megaman X5

I’m surprised you didn’t turn around. I ran into a similar situation a few years ago during a huge blizzard. I made it into work even though I shouldn’t have (both traveling conditions-wise and accident-wise), and I vowed never again.

Been having a tougher time again with work. Just feeling down with it and I hope to be able to move on at some point. Long hours have left me not really feeling like I can relax, and it’s just kind of piling up.

I ordered a new microphone and boom arm kit, and it should be getting here today. No real reason, other than I wanted it. The cat and the dog have been insanely rambunctious the past few days, and its partly driving me up the wall. Took me about an hour to complete Level 3 for Mario 2 last night, just because the cat

This game needs way more love than it got.

If I’m recalling correctly, 8th MS Team was very good. Much more of a real life tank analog in Vietnam-esque setting. I recall that one being very capital r Real, in scope and world. I do tend to prefer the more space opera settings of other Gundam series though.

Gundam Wing was the big entry point for most Americans. Very boy band-ish and angsty. I think the original series and storyline is a bit harder to get into nowadays; just different animation styles, quality, and themes. One of the good things about alot of the series that came afterwards used the same set up (Earth vs

Hell yeah with the Legendary Theme from Gitaroo Man. That song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.

The stereo mix does a lot of work here, and its noticeable on headphones. But so much of this would have gone unnoticed on smaller tvs back then that had only mono, maybe stereo at best. It’s not like a lot of SNES were hooked into HiFi systems back then. Even then, its not like Dad would let you touch the fancy

I don’t think it’s bad looking, just looks very basic in this case

Pulled the trigger on a new desk last night. I ended up going with one that was slightly bigger, but its aesthetics aren’t very good. It just looks like a regular office desk, mainly because its from an office supply company. I know there are people out there who say you shouldn’t care about aesthetics, but when it’s

The drums on these opening tracks are really stand out. There are so many fills and beat pattern changes. I don’t know much about Taro Kuro, but they definitely seem like they came from a drumming/rhythm background as their main instrument. The stereo panning is also crazy on all instruments. Stuff is really pushed to

I was going for just a straight desk instead of an L one like you did. I'll check out ikea, but I dont live super close to one. The closest one to me is about 2 hours away.

The key is to not have things where you need to whip your head from left to right. It’s good for live dashboard setups or similar things where you need to have almost constant eyes on it.
