I’ve unfortunately been finding sorbets mainly, which is unfortunate because I want it to be ice cream lol.

I really like celery. Big fan of just dunking it in some ranch dressing, hummus, or making ants on a log. I also forgot entirely what CSA stood for, until I saw a sign at a farmer’s market over the weekend. I told my partner they would like doing that and they agreed, but said they also prefer to pick out their…
You are about 3 years too late to be effective with this argument. It's already been taken over.
that would make sense then!
I knew they were smaller, but I also didn’t realize how much thicker they were than western playing cards. They are about a as thick as a credit card and much more rigid, with the design almost glued on to it. I got a Nintendo deck too, and was surprised that the card designs were almost identical to the Switch…
I liked the first Curse of the Moon and Ritual of the Moon. There was a lot of game there for kind of a surprise release of a throwback game that sought to emulate Castlevania 3., with multiple endings and characters and play styles. I got the easy ending in one night, but for the “complete” ending it offered a lot of…
I definitely get you on trying to find a game that clicks. I think this and next week have some great Switch games that I’ve been waiting on, specifically Deadly Premonition 2, CrossCode, and Paper Mario: The Origami King. I had forgotten about Catherine: Full Body and didn’t realize Bloodstained: Curse of the Night 2…
For plumbing fixtures, one of the best pieces of advice that I’ve gotten was to get them from a plumbing supply store rather than a big box home improvement store. You may be getting the same designed pieces, but they are better made. Like in what is a plastic piece on a big box store faucet is a metal piece on the…
The other week, Game Grumps were playing the Switch Clubhouse Games, and they ended up spending an episode playing hanafuda. It looked super fun, and I wanted to play it with my partner. I couldn’t see how you could have done local multiplayer on that game, so I bought a deck of hanafuda cards. They came in the mail…
I did play the first one, but I feel like I would have enjoyed it. I’m excited about picking this one up, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed by the technical hiccups. Still getting though.
I’m definitely not so concerned with the accessories or even the condition they are in. I know that they have been well loved, and that’s part of why I want them. I can totally get why people want to be on more of the preserved side of things though.
I’ve been watching Chris McFeely’s series The Basics, which is about Transformers characters, lore, toylines, history, and concepts. I love it, and its been a great insight for someone who has been a more than casual fan of Transformers since G1 was on tv, but who hasnt been much into the later series and…
This weekend has been great for me. I originally wanted to spend a lot of time studying, but I ended up playing Animal Crossing and watching movies all weekend. I really needed the recharge. I still have today off, and I’m going to try and spend a lot of it studying.
Spending a lot of time in Animal Crossing this weekend, fishing and collecting all the new critters for this month. We do alot of meal prep, so we actually have very little leftovers because it’s all portioned and frozen ahead of time.
Grats on all the winners this week. I thought I had a good one, but it just didnt make the cut.
I suppose if I was doing any grinding in a game, it’s Animal Crossing and its many collectibles. I just fished up an ocean sunfish this morning, but I’m checking the shop everyday to try and get the arcade machines. I’ve got the mahjong one, but I want the fighting game version.
Just finished taming the flowers on my island on Animal Crossing. Instead of putting up fences, I laid a bunch of paths around them. Then I decided to put paths all over the island, connecting houses and little places of interest. Gonna check out the swimming stuff next. I also want to play some MGSV, Control DLC, and…
I have the same thoughts. These daily threads have been invaluable in centering me and giving me something to look forward to and talk about. I don’t know what Riley or Zach are going to post about, and it really gives me a chance to think and reflect on situations that are outside of my dreaded usual work routine.
Like many dog owners, I dislike what the 4th of July does to my little pooper. My dad scared me off fireworks and thinks like firecrackers when I was growing up, with tales of friends loosing fingers and seeing one or two gruesome pictures of hands blown apart. They were also commercially illegal in Pennsylvania until…
