Yeah, those self-combusting Ferraris are totally low end too. Bad design/cost saving is the same at whatever level you’re buying at.

Yes, but lots of brands have some pretty embarrassingly cheap components on their cheapest models. If we’re going to be fair, we can’t say the quality of the Street 750 reflects the quality across the rest of the line.

Tweeting about the Model 3, right on the heels of the X intro? And with a bunch of qualifiers?

He also said his rockets wouldn’t blow up

Sold awfully damn good to be considered a “loser”.

He must be blinded by the Mazda lust that, for some reason, runs rampant around these parts.

Why do people judge automakers based on beat-to-shit rental cars? No common sense, I guess.

“Tells me all I need to know about Jalopnik”

I tend to wonder the same thing about Miata owners.

I like the panel trucks, every panel truck ever made is cool.

Just sold my 2009 HHR LS 5 spd manual with 145,000 km for $3300 CDN. The car fit my needs for good fuel economy and the ability to haul lots of stuff. Reliability was ok; only non consumables I had to replace were front lower control arms and bushings and an extra large lake on a Detroit on ramp shorted out a cam

I’ve owned my 2008 HHR SS (blue / manual / LSD / Brembo’s like the ad) since about 40,000 miles (2012) and I’m at 85000+ now. It was certified pre-owned and I had the fan blower, tailgate lifters, and passenger front strut replaced under warranty. Since then I’ve put a battery in it and am getting ready to install new

I hope you saw that first MS3 has SALVAGE title and the second one has almost 150k... LOL

I would consider this if he HHR were white.

He plastidipped the badges, and recently threw the kitchen sink at it, parts wise.

Hey, I’ve had great luck with GM products! I have about 25 combined overlapping years of GM car ownership and 2 combined years of other brands and I must say that I’ve cherished almost every moment of those GM cars.

Man, I hate the HHR.... Nice price, though. Hear me out.

I had a coworker who had one until a few months ago. It was cheap, reliable, and fit his family and some stuff in the back. It got the job done. So no, he didn’t go looking for it, but it fit the bill for someone who wanted an appliance.

No this is not the prettiest or most exotic, but I’d drive this. In reality, it’s quick, pretty decent handling (from what I remember) and can haul all your stuff....what’s not to like?
