the thing is they actually don’t, they can just use the Sega approach. Sega actively grants permission for fan games to use the traemarks, just doing it even minimally grants the same protection as going after the fan games does (as it shows that Sega is actively managing the trademark)

Nintendo has, literally, no legal basis for this. They’re being a bully pulpit. If properly challenged in court, they’d lose. This is fair use and Nintendo cannot exhibit any revenue loss for a product they no longer support and no longer sell.

Just because something is legally wrong doesn’t mean it’s morally wrong, or that enforcement of/adherence to those laws is the right thing to do.

There has been no factual evidence to ever link the central intelligence or any other government agency to plant crack-cocaine in minority communities or any community. More certainly could have been done and the spread was uncontrolled, but not a “government conspiracy” Also so little was known about the

Okay so for one, did you not get that “dick move” being an industry term was a joke?

And, great, so they’re legally within their rights but it still hurts the communities that love and spend billions on their products.  I’ll not be shedding a tear for Nintendo here.

Are you even old enough to know what happened in the 80s when Reagan was President? I lived them, it wasn’t so bad, however it wasn’t great either, but it was better than the Jimmy Carter days. Also as much as I dislike Activision/Blizzard I do not believe they went political about the game, unlike you in this

I mean, yes, but also during the game as well. I did die today in the game for the first time, and there was a brief load time. It’s just nice to have such seamless transitions always. The console boots up so quickly that it was on and at the home screen before my brand new TV even booted up.

At some point I had to start leaving stuff out and Juno’s whole story just goes nowhere and more importantly, isn’t a big part of the later games.

The glaring omission in all of this is “what happened to Juno?” She was set up to be the big bad after the death of Desmond, and she was hinted at in Black Flag, but then... nothing.

I believe their audience extends beyond the range of Thanksgiving celebrators.

Reminds me of the days of Spore.

Cat poop is actually dangerous for pregnant women.

With the way Hollywood’s brightest stars rushed to coddle Chris Pratt last night, you’d think the actor had been accused of sexual harassment by a D-lister or something

Meanwhile bespoke single player game Spiderman that is prob a similar 10 hrs tops of worthy content gets universal praise...

I had fun with the garrisons myself, but limiting interaction is definitely bad in an MMO. I always love the bustling cities in MMOs because it feels more alive and active. I’d always wished they’d done something to encourage people to hang out in the lesser-trafficked cities like Silvermoon and Thunder Bluff. They

I hadn’t thought of that, and love it SO MUCH!

I messed around with the new looks and accidentally ended up with Ava DuVernay:

Why are you surprised? Isn’t finding bugs exactly what betta testing is for?

Right you are, Ken!
