50/30/20 is overly simplistic and not a great method IMO. Most people should prioritize exiting debt and saving for emergency/retirement over a simplified budget scheme.

We don’t know because our point of view is the characters’ point of view, and no one who sees them lives long enough or is able to articulate well enough to tell everyone else what they’re seeing. It happens that quickly.
I like the photo for this article (showing a child in a womb). It shows precisely why so many of us believe in protecting the health (life) of unborn children.
Can you bloggers write a single paragraph without taking a dig at a particular demographic that you aren’t part of? The liberal media loves to whine and complain about a lack of tolerance; yet you keep writing these blog posts that are petty, arrogant, and confrontational.
It’s maybe just the teeeeeensiest bit insulting to NWSL players/fans that the reason Double A is telling us to watch is because men.
A lot of people get a rush from insulting outgroups if they feel that it’s socially sanctioned (as generalized misandry is at present). Hopefully they’ll have grown tired of it in five to ten years.
I’ll never get tired of men.
Don’t we WANT business owners to get tax cuts? Running a successful business isn’t easy and often fails.
I find it mind boggling how many media outlets are so keen to go into all the nuances of what might go wrong eventually without acknowledging the fact you’re basing this on a 10-yr prediction (with a compounding yearly error margin) that doesn’t consider the consequent economic growth that would occur (and has already…
LifeHacker, Gizmodo and just about every other blog associated with the parent company has turned away from regualr everyday useful and interesting articles and joined the left in bashing everything about this current administration. its honestly pathetic and to call yourselves journalists is insulting to actual…
I have yet to see a compelling argument that pay equality is something that can be legislated. Salaries for at-will employment are determined by negotiation.
Read twice just to make sure I didn’t miss it...still couldn’t find any support for the argument that the headline claims.
$2000 x 10 years = $20,000. That’s $20k more I could save towards my retirement, others could save towards their kid’s college, college graduates pay towards their student loans, or pay off mortgage/credit cards quicker. Look at it that way instead of just “$23 a week”.
Fact#1 - ANY tax cut will ALWAYS benefit the people who pay more in taxes, assuming the same tax reduction %, thus, if you pay a higher rate, then when taxes are reduced (Cut) you will get more of your money back than someone paying taxes at a lower rate. Think of it this way - 1% of $100,000 is more than 1% of…
“Conservatives are capitalists and believe that entrepreneurs who amass great wealth through their own efforts are good for the country and shouldn’t be punished for being successful. Liberals are socialists who view successful business owners as people who cheated the system somehow or got lucky. That’s why they…
Did you actually give any concrete evidence about how the average american’s paycheck will shrink? Because to me, it looked like a “hey you’re hurt because his tax break is bigger” argument.
It wasn’t a company wide email, it was a slack channel about their diversity initiative. In other words, the exactly appropriate place to discuss why a quarter billion dollars invested in their diversity initiative hasn’t moved the needle a single percent, and suggest perhaps reassessing the underlying hypothesis of…
I wonder how long it’ll be until a liberal employee of a predominantly conservative corporation gets fired for writing a similar ‘screed’ about some liberal cause celebre, and your writers and commentariat start tripping over themselves to reverse their arguments...
What parts of his write-up did you find directly disparaged and alienated his female coworkers?
Regardless of how valid or invalid his opinions are, isn’t an internal message board exactly the correct place to create a discussion about internal issues? He gets fired for having an opposing viewpoint meanwhile the person who leaked internal company communications gets zero punishment.
