To be honest I preferred Lifehacker when it was mainly about how to set up Linux machines and shell scripts.

Because you should be drinking it black.
I love how old safety standards are always brought up. I know cars are safer now, but its not like these were some notorious deathtrap. Relax bud.
See, that’s the thing. While the real answer is “parsh,” I do admit that people and entities should own the pronunciation to their own names. Volkswagen’s corporate overlords has determined they’re “Volks-wagon” in the United States, so there we go.
More properly... Tirex.
I think this varies wildly depending on where you live. Where I live 87 octane right now is $2.17 a gallon. 93 is going for $2.99. There isn’t that large of a delta between fuel economy in the ST models (or any other boosted ford) when burning 87 vs 93 when the price delta is so wide.
Right. Because my MG BGT with a “8.something when it was fresh from the factory 50 years ago” can really benefit from higher fuel prices & higher octane.
Oh! Oh! I know the answer. It’s different because the news media exploited children’s limited understanding of personal liberty to stoke the flames of outrage in order to boost their own ratings! I am also entitled to this opinion: That all bumper stickers are stupid and should never have been affixed to a car in the first place.
Never go full red.
Milleneals can’t accept that everyone knows more than they do. If I have to look at one more “hey old people, quit doing this” article, I might have to choke out the nearest one.
exactly! the “security flaw” CR is claiming on the TCLs is not a bug, it’s a useful feature that allows anyone with access to your wi-fi network—presumably password protected—to use their own device as an additional remote.
all the hacker would need to do to take control is infect a computer or mobile device that’s connected to the same Wi-Fi as your TV with malware.
Hell, I bought a $300 roaster that eventually paid for itself. Aim high!
What I like to do is calculate the amount of fuel that an idling engine would use, then work out whether the fuel required to make up for the decelerative forces produced by remaining in gear would be more or less than the former value at that moment in time, continuously evaluate the two, and then not give a…
Literally every car in the left lane, directly in front of me.
