My wife and I just did this trip in February but in reverse. Also..... in a Mustang Convertible. Really a bucket list adventure that we hope to do again. Loved your pictures.

Not the last time I checked. At least when I was looking at a TLX. Kind of disappointing but i guess combining the two could get complicated really quickly with all the linkages and driveline needs.
They do have 4 wheels steer, it’s just called PAWS instead. And you can’t get SH-AWD and PAWS together, it’s one of the other.
Ehh, I kinda like it. You get used to it after awhile.

I don’t disagree with you but winter in the northeast makes the VT roads look like swiss cheese. Also, potholes at speed = car out of alignment = uneven tire wear = early tire replacement = large tire replacement bill.
Whenever I see these at stop lights at night, all I can think of is Uncle Leo.
I have that Venza with hose rims and in the winter, there is so little wheel gap that snow packs into the wheel wells to the point that you hear the tires rub the packed snow over bumps.
