your comment about d-d-dan... that thing makes me uncomfortable. expect a call from my lawyer.

And yet it's the right-wing hard core consertives that complain about how political correctness is ruining the country and what thin skins the "leftists" have. I'd say it's ironic, except it's really not that surprising.

Re: the USPS

I was/am pessimestic about the panda people because they are silly. The companion pet you can buy is silly. And there's guaranteed to be about a dozen silly, over the top quests making fun of panda people. It's Blizzard, and it's what they do.

Considering the panda pet that's already in the game, I'm expecting dungeon groups of 4 pandas going "YA, HIII-YA, ooOOH-AH, HIII-YA" for every trash pull and 5 minute boss fight.

I got hooked on WoW right after Cataclysm came out, but I still pine for DAoC...

omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomg...

I'm sad for my EVO 4G too which is only, what 18 months old now? But I plan on upgrading to a Lumia asap so then I was like...

While I agree the pre-beta Windows 8 still has a lot of wrinkles to smooth out, I think if this poor old guy doesn't know alt-tab or stuble on the hot corners or hit the windows key, he's in trouble if he thinks getting a mac will be any better.

I'd throw in that it's a "new" IP, too.

I love that Christopher Reeve was, is, and will forever be Superman.

Occasionally, I'll have a super strong feeling of deja vu, but it's not like feeling it's happened before, it's more like I experienced it in a dream that I'm remembering. I'm never able to remember those dreams in advance so it doesn't really help me at all, but it makes me feel better that I'm on track, so to speak.

Although I was proabably too young to "get" Omni, I still loved their science and non-fiction coverage. Sadly the only title I specfically remember from it was a story towards the later printed years about George and Martha Washington called, "His Powder'd Wig, His Crown of Thorns." I don't think I even read it, but

sounds sorta kinda like the drive used in Song of Distant Earth by Clarke. I don't remember his description of the ship's engine or if it was described at all, but at the end they had to point the ship slightly askew to keep from frying/blinding the colonized planet it was leaving.

I was thinking about that when I saw this on IO9. It's a terrible loss, and probably nothing good will ever come of it. But what happens if she turns her life around, starts a clinic to help other people with addiction. Even the worst loss can be good and sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before change can happen

@ brijazz

I actually feel pity for her. Maybe the realization that she destroyed something older than Jesus will force her to get the help she needs.

The problem is that there's no filter on the news that differentiates between hysterical claim that sells newspapers (if it bleeds, it leads), vs a legitimate science article that says there's a possibility that something may happen.

I'm sure there are actors that could play Gin, but whether that's in the budget is something else entirely.

While I have no doubt Hollywood will botch this in every conceivable way, a (well done) Bleach movie makes me giggle like a school girl (MOAR KENPACHI).
