I'd rate it 4 5 1 2 3. I really think 4 and 5 are equally good. 4 a bit more because we still have Norma in full fabulous swing. This show was brilliant, even with wading through filler episodes.

Also, it was his snapchat story that he then shared on youtube. Tough to work with 10 seconds but he did a hilarious job.

I wanted him to stay dead.
But yay for winterfell

Thank you! I thought I was the only one. I thought the screenwriters did the best they could its my favourite film… After the 1st and 2nd. You're never going to get every page on the screen guys!

Its so disappointing! I really wanted (and was starting) to respect Stannis. I appreciate the characters complexities and no ones good and no ones evil but its really difficult to decide who I like anymore!

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this already but I'm concerned as to why Stannis's men will stay by him. Can they really respect a man who burnt his only daughter? Or are they simply by his side out of fear of what he's willing to do for the throne?

I don't think any of those shows have as big a scale as GoT. They shoot at 2 locations simultaneously, that's 2 separate crews. And there's the sets and extras.

Because its damn expensive to make sequences like this weeks! We'd have a watered down plot and really shitty CGI if they had to make 24 episodes

Okay I think I can do this now.
1. Goodness what a battle! I thought I had one up on most of Westeros, I thought I knew how bad the whitewalkers were, but no, I did not. I didn't ever see a battle like this coming. I didn't fathom how fucking terrifying their army could be.

Also, literally yelled FUCK YESSS when Jon's sword killed that whitewalker.

Holy fucking shit. *will comment again once I've calmed down*

Oh yes! (and I used to pride myself on knowing the characters & details… oh well..)

Were they? I seem to remember that he had to design his own sigil. He would've had one already if his family were noble.

It reminded me of Faye's presentation when he took 5 cookies to pass the "test". God forbid, but I think I might miss Mr. Crane.

Haven't read the review yet, scrolled down just to say my goodness, is Alfie Allen a good actor. Wow.

Hahaha I was really tired when I typed that! *hides under duvet*

Most of the TV I watch is so removed from reality but Mad Men, my god, Mad Men hits so close to home. I thought the TV formula was entertaining audiences through grand, unrealistic, imaginative stories but this show proved me wrong. The guy's refrigerator speech near the end of this episode, he says his kids don't

Let's not think about next week shall we? I'm too fragile.

And the nominees for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series are:
Elizabeth Olson - Mad Men
January Jones - Mad Men
Christina Hendricks - Mad Men
Kiernan Shipka - Mad Men
Alison Brie - Mad Men

That's been this entire show! The writers respected their audience enough to understand whats happening in the character's heads where every other show has to spell it out. "Filler scenes" (i only say that because most TV pegs those subtle scenes as filler) were the highlight of this show.
