That scene broke my heart. They've been the centre of this shows many complex relationship this scene with them miles apart had as much emotion as their encounters face to face. So rewarding.

The arc of their relationship is one of the best in Mad Men. I used to despise sleazy Stan, and now he's the only person who understands her! I'm so happy!

It was. It was perfect.

I'm just so deeply satisfied but sad to see this show go. It was the work of a collective genius, writers, actors, directors. Everyone else who touched this show can be immensely proud of the work they did. It was impeccable.
A thing like that.

For once, I can wait for Sunday. If it means I can still live in a bubble where these stories go on, I can wait.

I had no idea she voiced Jinora! Love her just a bit more now that I know that… Can't wait to see how her career progresses. (I feel your pain! I'm still getting over the end of ATLA)

These Mad Men reviews are the best of AV club (but there's some other good stuff too). I'm so sorry you came so late to the party! But we'll be going out with a bash on Sunday (I really hope so)

When this show is good, it's fucking brilliant! Which makes it so much more frustrating when a season is so uneven like this one was. There were such good moments, a couple perfect episodes, and a lot of filler subplot I did not give a damn about.

That's one of my favourite moments! I wish they'd used him as much as they did Sally. He seems like a good actor! The shot of him eating the candy on his field trip with betty is both funny and really really sad. Oh Betty, you were a nut case, but you were our nut case.

Its been unreasonably brilliant! And so much harder to see it end!

Completely! It was so real and so devastating

I'm so proud of Dany, coming to a sensible decision (well, we hope) without a small council. Imagine if she had Tyrion's advice! (please make it to mereen soon Tyrion!)

Somewhere in the middle of this week's episode I realized that it could well have been the end of Peggy. Which I simultaneously rejoiced and rejected because YES PLEASE one more Don/Peggy scene :'(

What makes this show so wonderful is how relatable it is. We've all been through the show's scenarios in some shape or form. For me it was trying to connect with a dad who was selfish. For my mum it was watching the man she loved lose everything. Watching a parent or spouse die is another experience millions have

No need for me to comment, you've summed up everything I thought/appreciated already! Down to the last line.

You, sir, (or madam) need to watch Peggy & Joan going at each other in that elevator. Same argument.

She had to steal Avon because Pete didn't trust or respect her enough to handle the account (ugh never mind. Pete doesn't trust anyone to handle accounts).

Dammit! I was hoping Norman and Bradley do the nasty coz people who sleep with Norman have a 100% chance of dying.

WAIT if they're never going to see that man again does this mean no more Don/Peggy scenes?? I guess the end of 7A was great enough to carry us for the rest of the season but but but just one more encounter before the end! Oh god I'm going to rewatch The Suitcase just to ease my aching heart.

Agreed on all points except for Joan. She deserves more than money and marriage (come on!) She deserves respect. While she's had this great arc, from secretary at SC, to more responsibility at SCDP, then partner, when she finally walks out she's still nothing more than a woman. She doesn't get to celebrate her career
