Technically the cancer is how evolution works/doesn’t work so if a god(s) was playing the ultimate sim it makes sense to have ultra-realistic physics governing the whole thing unless you feel like pressing ~ and typing up some physics defying stuff on a whim.

DMCA takedown requests should not be allowed to be automated as you could let a bot run wild and flag a good fraction of all videos on youtube. (Oh wait that is what youtube does already and is why everyone is pissed at the EU for trying to push it on everything).

Yeah GoG’s DRM free approach is why its my preferred store.

This is not true at modders including myself have always had to deal with old cruft and the general jank that their engine (fork of gamebryo itself a dated engine) has had for ages. Unreal/unity have far better back end tools that are both more stable and easier to use with a far larger community that is actually

He is probably using a mobile hotspot which are pretty common in Japan. It makes it easy to share one SIM with many devices.

He is a walking multiboxing demonstration and AuP/ToS violator. There are pretty big benefits to running multiple accounts at the same time but it technically gives such users an unfair advantage.

Pretty sure the heat caused an electrical fire due to melting the plastic insulation an arc from near contacting wires is even hotter and inside the plasma it can reach 3,000-20,000degC. This would then cause the internal temperature to reach temperatures higher than 550degC rapidly. It must have been much hotter

Just make sure you backup your nas regularly. If your running any business stuff that is important you should have two nas’s preferably with the second in a different location. Periodically you should also be making full backups and sending them somewhere far away (encrypted of course) in the event your area suffers

The difference is clear that drug abuse is a external physical addiction while gaming addictions are internal. They are far safer because they cannot be directly lethal.

Drugs are external chemicals to the brain and can directly kill you. Internal production of chemicals inside the brain cannot directly kill you from a chemical overdose. Any internal mental addiction is far safer than any external addiction which always carries the risk of an overdose.

Can gambling/gaming/non-substance abuse cause a direct physical overdose that causes death by a chemical overdose. No its physically impossible because no external chemicals are involved.

The big difference is you can’t directly die from overdosing on your own minds production of chemicals while drugs/alcohol can directly cause your death from a chemical overdose.

You cannot die directly from the chemicals your own mind releases (I’m talking directly die from just the chemical killing you) while drug abuse can directly cause your death directly through an acute overdose.

Everything including memories causes changes in brain chemistry so that isn’t exactly news.

There is still the big physical difference that yes you can have a mental condition that causes an “addiction” to gaming, sports, gambling, hobbies that may even be unhealthy and could lead to death indirectly.

There is a physical distinction between drugs, alcohol vs. game/gambling addiction. Drugs physically alter your brain and cause external chemical dependencies and mental dependencies. External drugs can be overdosed on and will kill you at a certain level.

Gambling/game/non-physical drug abuse are on a different level than drug abuse of any kind as external drugs are physically altering your mind while in non-drug situations it is literally just in your mind.

Sounds like gaming was more a surrogate parent (horrible parent) for what sounds like an abandoned child. I would not want to know what would happen if he didn’t have games to get addicted to you never know the curious/bored/abandoned kid could end up a cocaine/alcoholic and be dead.
