When I first heard the story, I just assumed she drank the coolant to wash down the Tide Pods she was eating.

New? I was seeing these in Afghanistan 3 years ago.
Verified. It seems to have hapened.
“In fact, DEET is the most effective bug spray we know about, so it’s probably the best anti-mosquito weapon at our disposal, ..”
Wife gets car-jacked.
The Skins? Never heard of them. But, I have heard of that team from Texas called the Boys.
The people those bikes were confiscated from most likely didn’t pay for them in the first place and would just have a good laugh while watching the bikes being destroyed. Then, afterward they would climb onto their newly acquired motorcycles and wheelie into the sunset.
That is exactly what it looks like what happened. With a wing surface that large and flared to 15 degrees when 10 degrees of flare is required for a head wind, the pilot is most likely thinking, “Okay, touch down now..........now.......noooooooooow! F*** it, we’re going around.” It’s amazing how you can ride a “ground…
It doesn’t matter how fast the new vehicles move. They could move at the speed of light, but, it will still take several hours for commanders in another time zone to give the “okay” to engage the targets. Been-there-done-that. (Not the speed of light thing, didn’t do that.)
I have always thought, if you just want to drop a bomb, use a piloted air vehicle. But, if you want to execute a specialized mission, jamming, ELINT, ISR, etc., get the fly-boy out of the cockpit and let the experts run the mission. And because the REAL experts are not pilots, that means UAVs.
The only reason that the Phalanx tracked the aircraft was because they were expecting it. The Phalanx has been proven to be relatively ineffective just as its cousin the CRAM. I can’t count how many times i’ve witnessed a CRAM not detect an incoming target or miss a target all together. The best use of the CRAM is to…
Great story! So, I snapped a picture on my way home this afternoon. I would have stopped and taken a better picture, but, my dogs get worried when I get home even a few minutes late.
Where’s the video of Northrop Grumman building the largest section of the F-18 in El Segundo, California? I guess it’s stored away with the video of Northrop Grumman building the largest section of the F-35 in Palmdale, California. Oh, and where is the video of Boeing building the new USAF aircraft tanker? It doesn't…
Saudi pilots are historically known as cowards, willing to eject all external stores to “get the hell out of Dodge” at the drop of a hat. Most likely a Saudi pilot, a prince who considers performing a pre-flight walk around below is social strata, was late for a camel race and needed a little extra air speed getting…
I have to agree with Wild Weasel. If the auto industry operated like the computer industry, prices would plummet and profits would rise. With most computers, one company manufactures the motherboard that can be used in different computers, another company manufactures video processor boards that will plug into most…
The final frontier? This death trap flies closer to my home than the distance I work from my home.
All those weapons for a plane that can't fly 500 miles without a refuel, has to be parked in the shade and wings are too small to take off with a full weapons load and full fuel load when the weather is hot. Thanks for wasting our tax money.
Advanced aircraft? Check out the B2 to the left of the 71.

Do the "sales" numbers include the number of leased trucks? If so, how can a glorified rental agreement count as a sale?
