To me, the sketchiness of microtransactions (and to a much lesser extent DLC) was offset by the deep discounts that also became the norm with digital stores. I find I’m more than happy to ignore microtransactions when I’m paying $15 for a $60 game.

Total Warhammer 2 is also a great example. Their DLC packs are relatively cheap, have well designed heroes or entire factions that fundamentally change how the core campaign is played. And each DLC pack is released at the same time as a free hero and major patch, so you get something whether you buy in or not.

I think Leguizamo is sneakily an all time great actor that has never had a career defining role. Interested to see what he does behind the camera. 

Yea I wouldn’t be concerned with that. Lore and cannon bait doesn’t goose numbers. Adorable marketable things like Baby Yoda do, because they appeal to the vast majority of people who don’t give a shit about lore or cannon.

The Mandalorian also appeals to people like me, who haven’t seen one episode of the Clone Wars, generaply like the overall Star Wars universe, and think the original films are decent, but loaded with mediocre to outright bad acting and character stuff that fans have been ignoring for 40 years.

Never watched Clone Wars and I still think this show is the most consistently good Star Wars thing out there.

Yea as someone with a personal and family history of mental illness, I’m really uncomfortable with mental illness being treated in the same way that race and gender are.
