The Mandalorian also appeals to people like me, who haven’t seen one episode of the Clone Wars, generaply like the overall Star Wars universe, and think the original films are decent, but loaded with mediocre to outright bad acting and character stuff that fans have been ignoring for 40 years.

Never watched Clone Wars and I still think this show is the most consistently good Star Wars thing out there.

Time gives every console a 100% fail rate.

Yea, I don’t agree with a thing Cleese says, but articles like this do nothing to help trans people. The AVClub is monetizing and rebroadcasting anti trans screeds, while also taking a needlessly hostile tone that makes supporters of trans rights seem like a bunch of hyper aggressive scolds who attack 80 year old

Yea as someone with a personal and family history of mental illness, I’m really uncomfortable with mental illness being treated in the same way that race and gender are.

Yea I get both sides. A big of it is how old you are, and where your reference point started.

But the people who are deciding whether to greenlight a sequel aren’t going to be the same people who disingenuously claim the movie underperformed. Producers aren’t in the habit of arguing against a paycheck for themselves.

I really don’t think people are going to ignore the pandemic in their assessment of Wonder Woman’s success. They’re not going to forget about the year that wiped out 99% of movie profits. The executive class will find any reason to blame a project’s financial failure on external factors. They’re certainly not going to

They must be reeeeaally upset over all of that money she made them with WW1.

I wouldn’t say that exactly, but AC is the most re-skinning series of all time, so that’s definitely an individual judgment call.

Yea same for me. I think the author is getting their Grantebridgescire’s crossed with their Oxenefordscire’s.

Huh? Insomniac Games, the developers of Spider-Man, are a subsidiary of Sony. You’re right that Spider-Man the character isn’t owned by Sony, but Spider-Man the game is definitely in-house Sony software.

If we had the drug laws we should have, instead of the unethical and draconian drug laws we have now, he’d be perfectly within his rights to have that gun. Without the drug priors he wouldn’t be a felon in the first place.

Okay you got it, tip #18:

Huh never noticed that. Perhaps the soul harvesting player is the true demon....

Yea I guess that’s why its now getting an almost certainly bad TV show, after having already produced a definitely bad movie. For some reason people care about this dumbass story that is surrounding these pretty likable protagonists and fun weird takes on historical characters.

How great would it be if they just dropped the modern stuff completely? No explanation, no wrapping up loose ends. Nothing. Just completely discard the Animus. Now go run around the past and kick people into the ocean.

Yea I had checked out of the series around Black Flag. Then picked it back up with Odyssey. I was playing happily through it, and got excited when I found my first artifact room.

I think the Republican party will probably stay with Trump playbook for another cycle. And Trump will continue to hang around and take every paid pundit opportunity possible.

Yea but the dude is terribly unhealthy, just had covid, and seems to be maintaining the blood pressure of a water balloon filled with hot sauce at all hours of the day. I don’t think he keep this up much longer.
